If you’re looking for one of a kind, true culinary experience, look no further than Trillium in Black Mountain. We went last night for the first time and it definitely won’t be our last. They have only been open 6 weeks, but you would never know that; it seems like they’ve been open for years. Trillium Table offers a wonderful and excellent dining experience in Black Mountain, often called a favorite. The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy, and intimate, set in what feels like a house, sometimes with seasonal touches. Many enjoy the veranda setting. The service is consistently fantastic, attentive, friendly, and makes guests feel right at home, contributing to a sense of a loving family operation.
The food is superb, incredible, delicious, and of great quality, with everything described as fresh, perfect, and having delicate flavoring. It is comfort-style but refined. Standout dishes include the steak cooked perfectly, braised beef, trout, chicken, and the New York strip special. Unique and delicious side dishes like kabocha squash, mashed potatoes, gnocchi, and other potatoes are highly praised. Meals often begin with bread service or a mixed greens salad. Desserts, like the special chocolate cake, are really good. The cocktail menu looks fantastic, and drinks are delicious. The staff sometimes presents unexpected complimentary dishes, enhancing the special occasion feel. It is highly recommended for a nice dinner and many plan to make it a regular visit, looking forward to going back.
