Love this bar! The food from the chef, Scott, is delicious and the service provided by Grant, the server and bartender, is excellent! He is attentive to his guests and works very hard to provide a nice experience.

The Green Park Inn has a great sense of nostalgia and class. Employees were all very helpful and friendly and the Piano player and all the other musical accompaniments including the vocalists were magnificent . I would definitely do a repeat visit. Beautiful scenery history and not far from things to do.
After a long tiring day at work the best place to be is divide Tavern for some tasty food and drinks .Their chefs are just talented and the attendants are fabulous. thumbs up
Our stay at Green Park Inn in October 2022 was acceptable! We enjoyed discovering the history of this lovely vintage hotel! Stationed on the third floor which we booked in advance, we were dismayed to discover the elevator was out of service. We walked and carried our luggage all the way to the third floor. We got plenty of exercise that night! Breakfast was wonderful! Since there seemed to be so few guests, we wish we could have had an upgrade to a room on a lower floor. I believe we were the only ones on the third floor. There was very little activity on the second floor.
We stayed at the Green Park Inn, and during this current pandemic, we are not dining inside with strangers. Arriving back at the hotel on a very busy Saturday evening, we decided it would be simplest to order at the Tavern and take it to our room. The staff was delightful. They took our order and chatted with us while we waited for our order. I ordered the Mojo Pork, and my husband ordered the enchiladas. We received our order and took it to our room. As we unpacked our dinner, we realized something was amiss. We received a lasagna and a chicken, broccoli, and rice casserole. Rather than go back, re-order, and wait again, we just sucked it up and ate what we didn't order. It wasn't bad. But it was a far cry from the food we expected. The experience, sadly, seemed in keeping with the entire hotel experience.
Delicious food, nice fun vintage ambience, fun spooky history.

We have a vacation home near the Inn and have stopped by the Divide Tavern many times over the years. The cozy, historic ambiance remains consistent. There's often a piano player in the hotel lobby in the evening and there are some historic photos to view. The management of various departments has changed a few times over the years...We recently stopped in for dinner in the tavern on a busy holiday weekend, and despite the current food and staffing shortages, the bar and restaurant staff were very hospitable and made sure that customers were satisfied. The personable chef prepared some nice trout and salmon appetizers and sent them out on small plates for visitors to sample at no charge, they were delicious!... Sometimes this inn feels like a hidden gem, just a couple of blocks from Main Street, Blowing Rock. It was good to see it busy over the holiday weekend!
Such a quaint and lovely old inn. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend.

We really enjoy a cocktail and some piano tunes by Charlie Ellis in the lobby. Feels like we’re transported back 100 yrs to some Hollywood age of elegance. A relaxing way to spend an evening with spouse & close friends when we want a break from touristy Blowing Rock and college-town Boone vibe
My husband & I came for New Years. We loved the history, as well as the beauty of the Inn. The rooms were most spacious, and we rested so well each night. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious, along with a friendly staff. The pianist & guitarist playing each evening in the hotel lobby gave a wonderful ambiance and nice entertainment after busy days in Blowing Rock. We will be back!
