was looking forward to our visit from Johnson City for quite some time, but it was the rudest experience I've ever had, you really don't like your customers. i will never come back.

Aside from the absolutely gorgeous views, the food was good! I had a veggie burger, slaw and the chocolate flourless torte. The other two in my party enjoyed their selections as much as I did. Our servers were quick and polite and there wasn’t a long wait for food. Make sure to bring an extra jacket if you’re sitting out on the deck. ***This review is based on a trip last month. We tried to go today (lunch time on a Saturday) and they were closed. I hope the closure is temporary because this place is a gem!

Today 10/ 17/20. We drove up to the Boone area from Garner to check out the views of the autumn foliage. We was getting hungry. We googled places with a view and outside eating. We pulled in the parking lot only to find out the place was closed with parking lot full of cars with people checking out the views. Not a good way to run a business. Busiest day of the week which is also peek autumn foliage week and you guys were closed. So subways got my money instead.

The view of The BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS IS MAGNIFICENT. YOU LOOK DIRECTLY AT GRAND FARTHER MOUNTAIN!?

Beautiful views, good food, friendly staff. Wonderful place to grab some food and enjoy an amazing scenic view of not so distant mountains.

The food is terrible! Nothing can beat the views but the food is horrific. My friends rice wasn’t cooked. The chicken on our nachos was grey. The margarita I had was gritty and had stuff floating in the bottom. The steak was like rubber. Awful... awful experience.

We didn't dine here. We arrived at 11:30ish and the owner was outside with no mask, explaining to another couple why the cones were blocking off the parking lot. We drove around until noon and returned. We were given an incredibly dirty high chair. We asked about drafts and were informed they had none. The waitress insisted there was a beer list on the paper menu and there was not. Once we had a list and ordered, they did not have what we ordered. At this point, our child was out of water and the waitress hadn't bothered to bring that out. The bottled beer we had settled on hadn't been brought out either so we left. The hostess who I assume was also the owner asked on our way out if it was the menu. She seemed friendly. The service was just really terrible.

I wish I would be able to provide a review of the food but we never got that far. After we got seated and ordered our food, the wait began. My biggest thing is, just let me know whats going on and i wont make a big deal. I completely understand wait times from working in restaurants. About 30 minutes after ordering our food, the waitress came by and apologized for the wait and said it should be out soon. Perfect, a little communication and I was feeling a little better. Another 10 minutes goes by and another update that they are working on the food now (2 burgers and 2 pancakes). After another 15 minutes and looking around to notice that all the tables that came in after us were already eating now too, it was clear the updates were not helping and nothing was changing. Finally, after our waitress came out of the kitchen yet again with empty hands and no update we decided to leave as by this point we just wanted something to eat and get on the road. Try and eat here with caution and maybe pack a snack in case the wait is as bad as we experienced.

We love stopping here for a bite to eat and enjoy the view. The staff is friendly and the view is amazing.

OK, I love supporting local restaurants so we stopped here for a late lunch and an amazing view. We were greated by a wonderful young woman that was super nice. We then had an equally nice server take our order. They were out of onion rings and we had to wait for the bartender to get back from the ABC store to get my wife's drink. We ordered a large salad with chicken and a large salad with chicken salad. We also ordered two cheeseburgers. 40 minutes later the salads came and one was small with chicken and the other was large with no chicken. We didn't order either of these. To make matters worse, lettuce was wilted and cherry tomatoes were wrinkled...translation bad. Also, carrots were slimy. We sent those back but we still didn't have our burgers. We waited another 5 minutes and no burgers. OK, even if the burgers were frozen, it would take 8 minutes to cook them. We decided to leave and minimize the stress. If you stop for anything but a drink be prepared for an awful experience. This place is not recommended and if anyone does recommended it, it would be for the nice ladies working there and not for the food and in this case, the lack of food. Not recommended.

This food was not good. Service was a bit shoddy and the food was not good at all. Views of the mountains are great, the food is not.

Had a large family dinner here and the staff was very friendly and as prompt as you can expect for a large group. The food was phenomenal and the most amazing views! And we had zero issues! A can't miss for the Blowing Rock area!

Wait was extremely long when there were plenty of tables available, hostess was less than accommodating, the only edible food items were the fries and chips, stickWith bottled beer if ordering a drink, do not recommend.

There was a 45 minute wait to eat outside (at 12:15pm on a Sunday). After twenty five minutes we were told it would be even longer so we were seated inside. The menu was extremely limited. You could choose from three breakfast items (at 1pm), a salad, or their “special” which was fish n chips. I asked for ketchup and it was basically empty and it looked like someone had eaten out of it (I was promised they didn’t recycle ketchup). The first piece of fish was luke warm, the second piece was still raw. I didn’t even check the other pieces. My mother’s fish was raw as well. I asked the waitress if we could go because I was extremely disappointed. When the manager came to take our plates we got a defensive apology and we still had to pay for our ice tea and glass of wine.

We stopped by today around 4:00 p.m. for an early dinner. We were hopeful it wouldn't be crowded as it was before the dinner rush. We wanted to sit on the deck but there was a wait so we put our name on the list and went to the bar to get a drink. We were told it would be a 5 to 10 minute wait. The bar and the deck were both relatively crowded for 4:00 p.m. The bartender was very kind, but she was by herself and overwhelmed. She seemed frazzled and it took a while to get our drinks. After about 15/20 minutes we went back to the hostess areato check on the wait list. The male host said "oh I forgot about you... A table is ready." We were seated and given menus. The choices on the menu we're very lackluster. It was definitely just glorified bar food and nothing jumped out as being very exciting. We waited about 15 minutes and no server came to us or even looked in our direction. We decided just to leave. Bummer.
