Cupcrazed Cafe and Restaurant

Cupcrazed Cafe and Restaurant is a charming eatery tucked away in a whimsical green area on main street. Known for its delicious baked goods, including good cupcakes and an excellent triple chocolate cake, the cafe is a must-visit for sweet treats. The staff is warm and welcoming, allowing pets inside and offering fresh bacon to furry friends. The cafe also serves solid coffee and has a bakery next door with amazing cinnamon rolls. The entrance is truly wonderful—off Main Street down a winding cobblestone pathway through gorgeous greenery to a lovely courtyard with comfortable tables and chairs. In front of two charming buildings, inside seating is pretty and inviting, making it feel like a secret garden. The menu features creative brunch and luncheon selections, with highlights like deviled eggs garnished with bacon and capers, served with a nicely dressed field green salad. The lobster bisque is perfect, and the veggie sandwich with dilled cream cheese filling on crusty bread is tasty, though some found it needed more inside. The chicken and waffles with bacon jam is liked, but the chicken piece was quite small for the price. For dessert, the bakery offers incredible key lime cupcakes with butter cream cheese frosting and huge brownies. A take-home blueberry scone is also substantial and terrific the next morning. The restaurant provides a great start to the day, with cozy fireplaces and delicious dishes like brook trout eggs. Service is friendly, though sometimes a bit slow or needing attention, and there were a couple of billing issues. Despite this, the outdoor setting, creative menu, and bakery make it worth visiting. The restaurant can get busy on weekends, so reservations are recommended, which are easy to make on Open Table. With fast, entertaining service and a hidden garden atmosphere, Cupcrazed Cafe and Restaurant is a delightful place to enjoy good food and sweet treats.
