They were very under staffed. This made service very slow. Food was good, but didn’t like the changed chicken and rice.
We arrived in the later morning and we're seated immediately. Our waitress was cordial and very attentive throughout our meal. Drinks were refilled promptly and ordering was quick with helpful questions and recommendations to make our breakfast complete. The food was prepared as ordered and it was delicious. We had enough leftovers to bring home for another breakfast. We have found Cracker Barrel to be consistently good wherever we travel.
We stopped at Cracker Barreling Boone NC on 12-31-2024. We ordered breakfast and it took about 50 minutes to get our food. The pancakes were terrible. My wife couldn’t hardly cut them. I immediately took them to the kitchen and requested to get fresher pancakes. The lady said they had similar complaints about the pancakes. How do you mess up pancakes? I also told the person when I paid my bill.
