My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about El Tacorriendo and their team of wonderful humans! From start to finish, they made our wedding catering experience absolutely perfect. It was important to us to support a local Boone business that was special to us during our time as ASU students, and El Tacorriendo was the best choice we could have made (their ACP wraps are my favorite <3)
The food was incredible - we're still getting compliments weeks later about how fresh and delicious everything was. We chose their taco buffet bar where guests could customize tacos, nachos, or bowls, and it was a huge hit with our guests. It was easily customizable for dietary restrictions, and left no one hungry! The pricing was the most reasonable we found, and they made it easy to add extras like rice and beans. The churros with three different filled flavors were an absolute showstopper!
Ashley was our point of contact for nearly a year leading up to the catered event, and she was amazing. She consistently responded to my questions quickly and made the entire planning process stress-free. On the day of the wedding, their team was professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient - they kept the buffet line moving smoothly so all 120 of our guests could enjoy their meals without long waits.
We even had plenty of delicious leftovers to enjoy! If we could do it all over again, we would choose El Tacorriendo in a heartbeat. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional food, great service, and fantastic value!

I moved my daughter into App State and found this awesome Mexican food truck! We had their Asada (steak) tacos, Mexican elote (corn) and chips with lime and hot sauce, can’t forget the Mexican glass coke. I highly recommend! Will be back when we visit. My daughter will be a regular now living in Boone. Gracias! 🇲🇽

Best Mexican spot in Boone. Tastes just like the Mexican food I had in New Mexico before, and that’s tough to find in NC. The potato tacos are great, you almost can’t tell there’s no meat in them. Favorite item here is the diablo burrito.
Bangin’ establishment. Good priced food that will knock your socks off. That verde salsa is off the chain…. Getcha someeeeee.

This place is amazing. Cheaper than Chipotle and tastes 10 times better. When I get rich I’m dumping every penny of investment money into this truck. The spicy salsa has just enough kick and flavor to transform any of their menu items (acp mountaineer is my favorite) into a masterpiece. Absolutely deserves 5 stars.
