Went to grab a coffee here but the atmosphere was too cozy to leave. Our barista was super sweet, humble and very helpful Good ambience with old music records in one room. A true musical vibe with coffee and a relaxing environment We ordered Strawberry matcha,Ode and London Fog ( lighter on the sweetness) The drinks were refreshing and delicious

Just stopped here for a caffeine pick me up on a trip from Elizabethton to Durham. We had a chai and a London fog and both were among the best we’ve ever tried. This spot has a super fun atmosphere with different rooms/spaces set up for things like gaming, listening to vinyl (turntable and albums available), studying, and chatting with friends. We will definitely visit again when we’re in Boone!

Thanks to this spectacular coffee shop and the graciousness of its owner and workers to keep their doors open for the community after the storms and choosing to come into work. Where they had running water and internet we had gratitude for their sharing of it at such a sensitive time and appreciation that they showed up. The coffee is great, the owner is considerate & kind. Overall great experiences there.

We stumbled upon this adorable coffee shop while heading out of NC back to Florida! I’ll admit I was skeptical but what a pleasant surprise! Sean the young man who owns Kovu ( named after his dog) was pleasant and eager to answer all our questions! Lots of seating space for everyone. Comfy sofas for reading or studying. A space with many albums and a record player. It’s a must see!
