If there was a a way to give 0 stars I would. The bartender felt my aid wasn’t “good enough” and was rejected. My friends presented their ID and they got no problems just mine. Clarify for everyone I’m 22 and have never ran into this problem. All of my friends left and we will never be returning. Not only did he reject my Id but he was rude and extremely disrespectful. As a business owner, this is embarrassing.

I used to drive an hour and a half to come here. After the visit today, I’m not sure we’ll be back. It took 45 minutes to get our food(not terrible but we were one of the only tables there) I ordered a sub and soup, husband ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and fries. The burger was dry, it had ingredients on it that didn’t come on it. The French onion soup was supposed to come topped with a cheesy baguette, just came out in a cup (as pictured) asked the waitress who later brought me the little piece of bread with cheese but it wasn’t the same. French fries were either cooked in dirty oil or fried 2x- I don’t think the cook cares about her job. This place has gone seriously downhill and was a waste of $40, I wish I would have complained but I didn’t want the waitress to have a rough day. This place used to be great, I guess Covid ruined it too.

made an online for for a chicken parmesan wrap and paid extra for a cup of ranch and they forgot the ranch and gave me a buffalo chicken wrap got the entire order wrong.

The atmosphere at Macado's is amazing. It has a very cozy, informal vibe. There are many different choices on the menu and our table of 5 all LOVED the food! There were only a few severs which slowed things down only a tad but we still got everything we needed and wanted. I will definitely be eating here again!!
The selection of sandwiches is great or you can build your own. This is a great location in downtown Boone, close to the University and just a couple of doors away from the theater. The only negative was it took a long time for our server to come to our table. After that it was very good not sure if there's a Five o'clock shift change.Parking: Parking is on the street or in lots nearby. Nights and weekends is free.

I took my wife on St. Patrick’s Day 3/17/24, who is of Irish descent, to try her first Reuben sandwich. After waiting 15 minutes longer than requested, everything was ice cold. Used to be a great sandwich place, now I will most likely never return.
