Absolutely love this spot. I've had all perfectly made drinks here, and the environment is so welcoming and cozy! They sometimes have some interesting drink flavors that rotate, too!
It's common to see people eating meals, as well as coming with a small group.
The music can sometimes be loud, but I've just asked the baristas and they were happy to turn it down a bit.

All the best vibes at this little cafe. Great eats and frozen takeaway dishes made locally. I loved the iced raspberry white chocolate mocha.

We started out Grandfather Mountion day here and WOW, what a great find!! Friendly service and a special “steak, egg and cheese” breakfast croissant sandwich on the menu. I took the chefs advice and opted for pimento cheese and what came out was nothing less then breakfast perfection (it even had a touch of horseradish added. I made sure to meet and personally thank chef Bobby for his unique and delectable creation!!!

I tried to come here before work, took 10min to put my order in and then after paying took 20min to get my coffee. Coffee was amazing would definitely come back when I have more time. Definitely need to hire more there was only 1 barista here and she was doing the best she could.

This was one of my favorite coffee shops after living in various places across the US and visiting coffee shops around the world (I have lived locally for five years now) even though this coffee shop only opened recently. Great idea, location, and coffee, but I recently had an awful and awkward experience. After sitting down for about 55 minutes, I was asked to leave the coffee shop. I had not even finished my coffee yet, and it was extremely awkward... I was told that the tables needed to be opened up because of how busy they were, but there were several tables still open. I was also told that they have a one hour limit on sitting in the coffee shop, which is a bit bizarre regardless of how busy you are (I also had not even been there for an hour). I feel extremely strange about the experience, I am really upset about what happened and sad that I do not feel like returning to what was once one of my favorite spots with great workers. I’ve never even written a review for a business before today, but had to share so that hopefully others don’t make the mistake that I did of thinking that this was a nice place to sit and have a drink… I have been a longtime customer but I’m unsure if I’ll ever go back. I have taken probably upwards of a dozen friends here and regularly bought little birthday gifts for friends here so this is unfortunate. Obviously I did not make it an issue and I understand that the owner likely wants to get more business, but it felt as if this coffee shop is strictly for tourists now. I felt like locals are a nuisance. Will likely be sticking to coffee shops in the town of Boone from now on :(

We did the drive through, just a coffee and a chai. Both were good but I was really impressed with the chai. It wasn't too spicy or overly done. Just simple and the oat milk was creamy.

Ate here on February 9th around 10:30am... The two men were fantastic, but the younger girl was very rude not only to me, but also the barista (beard and piercings). The menu on the bar where you order is incorrect. The menu says the avocado toast has two pieces of sourdough, havarti cheese, olive oil, balsamic, and Aleppo pepper. What I received was one piece of toast, with just avocado, and pickled onions. Clearly not what the menu says. Also paid almost $18 for this bland, tasteless, avocado toast. My girlfriend got the veggie sandwich and pistachio croissant, both of which were amazing. May want to take the old menu off the counter if items change. Everything else is delicious and again... the other two men were excellent. Very good service. Other than the girl... she did yell at the male worker like 3 times not to warm something up. Change the menu. Thank you.

I LOVVVEEEE this place. I have a large dog, and live in an apartment. So, out of love for him, I need somewhere to let him be free.
Mountain Dog Coffee provides not only a large, fenced in yard,... but PUP CUPS TOO!!!!
Their coffee, and turkey soup are AMAZING!!!!
I do not recommend small children or large study groups here.
2 reasons:
a. This is a dog park, and large dogs do visit.
b. Seating is limited on busy days.
Within respect to these parameters, this place is truly a gem, and a must have for your canine companions ❤️
