Sadly I’ve been here twice and have been disappointed with what I ordered everyone. First time I tried a burger.. was very dry and tasteless. I had a chicken sandwich the last time I went and the chicken was so hard and dry I couldn’t eat it. The wing are good and fries but don’t recommend a chicken Sandwich
Up in Boone for the weekend, on the way out we were looking for a local place to have lunch (4/28/25) and I stumbled across new river. Wonderful decision!
There is a wonderful covered area out front that looked nice. The inside isn't large but there was a good amount of tables.
The hostess was nice, our server was lovely. I wish I'd asked her name. She was patient and easygoing.

Our first time here was Saturday.. was greeted so kindly as soon as we walked in and seated immediately. Very clean dining area & restrooms was very clean as well. The service was a 10 out of a 10!! Food was wonderful! We had cheese sticks as an appetizer. So good! I had the loaded nachos & my husband had a burger both were so yummy!! We live about an hour and some away but will definitely be back! Glad we found this little spot!
