For years I've wanted to go here my boyfriend suprised me we drove 68 miles to take me and a recently widowed friend. I was so excited to have a prime rib. Out of 5 people coming to our table reaching over our food to remove dirty dishes. My family & I entered the Peddler Steakhouse in Boone, NC on Saturday, October 11 at approximately 5:00 pm. No one was waiting to be seated. I asked the young lady if we needed reservations & she told us we had to wait 2 hours before we would be seated. The restaurant did NOT have many Customers at that time. She was very RUDE & she please when told we would leave & try another restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The salad bar might be gone, but you can still get a salad with lots of great toppings. Steaks were great and the bourbon selection was also good. I always enjoy eating here when I'm in the area.
