Pepper's Restaurant and Bar

OpenTable allowed us to make a reservation in a restaurant that was closed. We drove to the restaurant looking forward to a good time and a good meal, only to find a “Closed” sign on the door. We were very disappointed and had to scramble to find another restaurant that was open. I highly suggest that Open Table NOT allow you to make a reservation in a restaurant that is closed. I doubt I will use Open Table again.

Food was so good. We came in as a party of 7 and all cleared our plates. Highly recommend

A wonderful restaurant with very pleasant wait staff, the food is some of the best and I quite enjoy the French dip sandwich along with the artichoke dip

Loved it. Great beers and fantastic food at great prices. Bartenders were great in helping with beer and food choices. Had sirloin in pesto sauce with mashed potatoes...for $10.99...what !!!! Yes highly recommended A+++

Excellent Mahi Mahi tacos with mango salsa, great service. The bartender had about 8 tables to cover, but she was excellent with a great personality.

Great in my student days at App State many moons ago, and great now. I always get the French Dip and steak fries, so am not much of a reviewer here.

I had high hopes for our lunch today, but our food was terrible. We both ordered the potato skins as our meal. We ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for our food...which, I might add is supposed to be an appetizer. We were given four potato skins each... and
It was 10.00 for each plate.. Also, they were hard as a rock and the bacon on them made us both sick. We each had sweet tea to drink and even the tea was so weak...it was like water. The only good thing about eating here was our server...she was really nice. The total for our meal for tip and everything was 31.00....way too expensive for rock hard potatoes...we could have had a steak dinner for that. Don't waste your money!
