Visited briefly while on tour with Blue Ridge Food Tours and loved the food at SouthEnd! We had brisket slider and eggplant fries(didn’t even know that was a thing) and both were amazing. I’m going to dream about that dipping sauce. Beer was great and paired well. Highly recommend and I’ll be back! Yum… 🤤 It’s a must try stop if you are in the Boone area.

I visited here with my Blue Ridge Food Tours group. A fun group!
Loved the charm of your place and the staff very accommodating. The brisket sliders and the okra fries still on my mind, fantastic flavor! The beer was a perfect match with the brisket. I am a local, but now I have your place on the top five list!

We visited SouthEnd Brewing in Boone as part of a food tour yesterday. Even though we are local, we just hadn’t had the opportunity to try it. Wow!!! Now we know what we have been missing all this time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owner personally told us the history of this family-owned business, and you can see how much love and passion has been invested in the business. This is a labor of love. In addition to the wonderful atmosphere, the food and beer pairing we were served was absolutely incredible. We had a brisket sampler sandwich, eggplant fries with an amazing dipping sauce, and a Scottish beer. The combination was pure magic. The sandwich had the BEST combination of ingredients and flavors. The brisket was tender and flavorful, the crispy texture of the bacon was amazing, and the pillowy soft bun that never got soggy was incredible. The beer was also delicious. The owner explained the complex process of making the beer, which made me appreciate it even more. SouthEnd Brewing is the real deal: great people, serving incredible food and drinks! We will most certainly be back… and next time we’ll bring more friends to share the experience with. Thank you for an amazing experience, SouthEnd Brewing! Keep up the hard work… your passion is inspiring.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and awesome drinks! The tuna nachos were absolutely the start of the show for us — we loved them so much we ordered a second round. Highly recommend you stopping in and giving them a try!

Great food and service full bar, nice atmosphere on main street. Seated Immediately party of 3, ample seating. It was difficult to find parking had to park 2 blocks away in a parking lot for $5. Not bad If you're going to stroll the town. Servers were extremely helpful. Offered the specials and we got both. They were perfect 👌. Best pretzels we've had anywhere also. Lots of options for food and drinks 🍸

Popped in with a family of four while other local spots were on a wait. Sat right down. Fast service with jam up food and drinks.
Great beer and the bar service was wonderful. Enjoyed our food and the conversations with the bar staff. Would recommend to anyone.

Went here for the first time today with some friends to try the place out. Let’s just say I wasn’t impressed. The food was below average at best. Me and my party got multiple appetizers and they all were a miss. Either the food was too salty or too bland. However our server was amazing and took great care of us. Overall don’t think it was worth the trip. You have been warned. 😛 here’s a tip - pull back on the salt and add a little bit more flavor.
The atmosphere was also there #goodvibes

We had brunch, it was wonderful. My husband and I split the Neer’s breakfast and it was delicious, the sausage gravy is down home delicious, the French toast is melt in your mouth good. We will definitely be back for more brunch goodness in the future. 🫶🏼

Megan and the crew at SouthEnd were incredible to work with. We originally signed a contract to hold a rehearsal luncheon/welcome party at Upstairs on King (their second floor venue), but due to construction delays with Hurricane Helene we ended up utilizing the first floor. Megan was accommodating of our needs and helped us come up with a plan that worked for both us and SouthEnd. The drinks and food were greatly enjoyed by our guests and we could not have picked a better place to kickstart our wedding weekend.
