I visited this Starbucks location Thursday evening after a very long day of classes and work, and was absolutely thrilled by the service I received from "Mads"! I had no intentions of stopping by Starbucks as I was just hoping to pick up some essentials for dinner from the grocery store; But am so glad I had the time to do so. Mads recommended a drink that I can now say is easily my favorite drink of all time. I am pretty picky, but she took the time to hold conversation with me, and made sure to come up with something she thought I would love. The drink was made quickly, and was delicious. Other customers around me seemed very happy as well. I was very happy to have met Mads and be around her bubbly, driven work personality! I will be back for sure!

I understand customer service is hard, but being kind shouldn’t be. I went today and spoke with Abby, she clearly was in a bad mood. I greeted her with a smile and a hello. I know working at Starbucks is hard especially in the holidays, I asked if she could use one of the reusable cups unknowing that she can’t wash it but she did inform me and I understood but she came at it in a rude way, Before I could even ask if she could use the cup she cut me off saying she had to ring it up but it was in a very rude way and wouldn’t let me speak. She made it very uncomfortable during the whole process, I didn’t know when I could start ordering again and she was just staring at me. She made it seem like I was inconveniencing her by ordering. My friends also became uncomfortable to order because she was very rude and asked me to order for her but I did not feel comfortable to go through it again. The drinks were great though.

I’m sure the drinks would have been great, but the worker seemed to be visually impaired and instead refused to even look at us. It’s a small kiosk and we were the only ones there. Maybe she hates her job and wants to be fired, and if that’s the case I pray she is. Of course if she is visually impaired then I would suggest I bell for the counter or another job.

Worst Caramel Crunch Frappuccino I've had, it was mostly just whipped cream with some caramel and it was warm. This Starbucks needs a good cleaning because it was filthy. Grabbing a pitcher from a pile in a sink to make a drink is just plain GROSS. Money wasted, will never go back to this Starbucks.

The barista at 8 pm absolutely botched my white latte. The milk was so foamy it felt like a cappuccino. I asked for more milk and with a snarky “umm okay” from the male barista, he asked someone to steam more milk. When he gave it back to me, it still felt incredibly light 2 sips and the drink was halfway done. Total waste of money, I feel robbed by careless baristas. It’s not that hard to make a white mocha, and it’s very hard to mess one up.

I went to the Shoppes at Shadowline branch this morning right as they opened at 6 am. When I walked in, I was shocked that no one was there. Finally an employee showed up. She was sweeping the floor. When I went to ask if she could help me she seemed very frustrated over the fact that I asked her. Normally, I'd be very understanding but it was frustrating to have to ask for help when they should have been open to the public. The lady seemed so frustrated I just ended up leaving. I'm sorry to complain but I think that a business should be open and ready to go when it's time. Thank you.

I asked for a Irish Cream Cold Brew twice this week. Every time I came here, they fill half the cup with water like an Americano and it tastes so watered down. I thought maybe they made it wrong the first time so I returned and ordered again. On the same day, I went to other Starbucks and I asked if they did watered their cold brews down and they said they didn't. I wasted my money at the Harris Teeter location. Please don't come here for the cold brew. They're very cheap at this location apparently.

Why are they not offering the eggnog lattes at this location this year. Even the barista didn't know why. And the little gal making the drinks didn't seem too happy to be working today. But, this location always seems to make a consistent drink every time.
