Stick Boy is an amazing restaurant and bakery but they are also incredible caterers. Jennifer and her team were so great to work with. The food was perfect and with service to match. As a local wedding planner, I will definitely be recommending them to my future couples and cannot wait to work together again. I highly recommend checking them out for your next event!

Super busy on a Saturday but still didn't have to wait long at all. Service was great, helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere. And of course, delicious cookies and breakfast pastries.

Quick stop for a take out order. Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Forgot the cheese. Around $9.75. The biscuit was very hard, like cardboard. The flavor was bad, left an aftertaste. I am not sure if this is a style of biscuit???? It was like a hard English muffin, no idea……. maybe different kind of flour……. The one piece of bacon (maybe a half piece) was just not good quality bacon. Anyway, no reason to go back……

I am here on vacation from Raleigh. I was looking for a sandwich after some exploring; I’m a vegetarian and have a sensitive stomach so finding food was going to be a task. I was delighted to find this place and ordered two days in a row! I got the Hearty Arti sandwich and the peaches and cream smoothie and the cherry vanilla smoothie. The sandwich was perfect, not too acidic, plenty of protein, tempeh was well seasoned. The smoothies are good but have a medium- strong yogurt taste so know that. My partner and I also got cookies and cinnamon rolls which were perfect and well priced. Service was fast and correct both times I ordered. So glad to find this place!!

We ordered our wedding cake from Stick Boy and it was the best decision we could have made! We had a wonderful lemon zest cake with a raspberry filling that was to die for! We ordered the at-home cake tasting earlier this year and it made choosing our flavors so fun and easy! We definitely recommend Stick Boy Bread for any special event!

The best. We love it. Their French country loaf is great. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. The coffee is delicious. I get my weekly pizza toppings, bread here and love to bring my kids for special dates with mom.

Stick Boy was our choice for catering at our wedding on 10/07/2024. After Hurricane Helene devastated western NC, I had to make some last minute changes for my wedding day. The venue was no longer accessible and I feared that I would have to find new catering last minute. Jennifer and her crew had worked for months to prepare a fully vegan buffet spread and were determined to get to share that food with me and my guests. Jennifer was kind and companionate and went out of her way to get that food from Boone to the new venue in Winston-Salem. I am so incredibly grateful for her and her staff and all they did to bring such a beautiful meal to all of my guests. The food was delicious and my guests (most of whom were not vegan) were impressed by the colorful spread and variety of flavors put together by Stick Boy Bread Co. If you are looking for vegan or vegetarian catering for your wedding near Boone and you have a tight budget, please contact them!!
