One of my favorite places in Boone! I frequent the Kitchen for lunch and also use them for catering on campus. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches salads and have multiple daily quiche options and soups on the menu. My go-to is the reuben or the French dip, but really, you can't go wrong! Everything is freshly made and delicious. There are few pastries and loaves of bread available, but for more extensive options, you'll need to go to the Stick Boy Bakery across from campus. They are usually pretty busy at lunch time during the week, and there can be limited seating during the winter or if there is bad weather. If it's nice out though, there is additional outside seating. If you're looking for a soup and sammie spot, this is your place! 10/10 highly recommend!

By far the superior bakery in town. Desserts are top notch as is their many bread options. They can be infuriating refusing to slice whole cakes in the case, only selling them whole, but you cannot fault the quality.

Great quick stop! We were looking for a local bakery with fresh options on our way back to the coast, and this place absolutely delivered. Hearty breakfast, delicious treats, and the bread looked AMAZING.

I am a snob for bakery cafe's. This passes my threshold. We are here twice in a row. The signature biscuit sandwiches are delicious. The sticky buns are my favorite. The maple sea salt latte is our go to. It's great with regular or decaf coffee. Highly recommend.
