Delicious bagels; so soft and chewy. The service is great and portions are generous. Definitely a must-try!

I am a snob for bakery cafe's. This passes my threshold. We are here twice in a row. The signature biscuit sandwiches are delicious. The sticky buns are my favorite. The maple sea salt latte is our go to. It's great with regular or decaf coffee. Highly recommend.

They have online ordering and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating.

FIVE STARS for Stick Boy Kitchen in Boone, North Carolina! This cozy spot serves up excellent coffees, smoothies, breakfast plates, soups, sandwiches, baked goods, spreads, cream cheeses, dressings, hummus, and other fresh sides — all made from scratch with quality ingredients. Pastries and breads are baked fresh every day. Open Monday–Saturday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with both indoor and outdoor seating.

We asked if they could make the French toast with sourdough bread. The girl was new and got the manager over to ask if that is ok and the manager said no problem but the bread would be thin unlike the bread they normally use. Instead 30 minutes later they just gave us toast. They made the order wrong but instead of being nice. The young lady came running up to the table yelling “what’s wrong” and being combative. She claimed that it take a day of soaking the bread to become French toast and that no one can make the toast with sourdough. I tried to tell her the manager said it was ok but she said that was not the manager but the new girl. I tried to tell her that the manager came out but she cut me off and would not listen. I paid $50 for 2 breakfast plates and 2 coffees. I have been coming here for 20 years and they are normally friendly but lately they have been rude. I don’t recommend this place anymore. I calculate that I have spent thousand of dollars there but not a penny more. I hope that this business feels the effect of its hiring and training decisions.

My first visit to Stick Boy today and boy were they hopping! I got the Rowdy Rooster chicken salad sandwich on multi-grain bread and it was yummy! 😋 The two versions of sticky buns were calling my name, but I didn't answer, this time! Parking is a bear and I came at a busy time, but I will return!

It doesn't get any better in Boone than Stickboy Kitchen. Fresh ingredients, proprietary recipes, and awesome staff. Whenever I need something fresh and delicious, Stickboy is the obvious choice.

Our cookies were good not great. They really should have been replaced with fresh cookies. They were good just not what they could have been. I know that they are usually better so I will return next year.

We came up to visit our son in Boone. When we moved our son into his apartment we stayed at a hotel on King St. that had Stick Boy pastries on their menu—it was love at first bite!

Later I googled & found their bread company (taking home some bread & treats). On this overnight trip—I was visiting the plaza to seek out some vintage finds at the thrift shop & stumbled upon this restaurant. Yesterday afternoon I brought the family for lunch and it did not disappoint. I highly suggest looking at their online menu because the line is long because of their popularity. You’ve got to know what you want to order when you get up to the register. I’m happy they had outdoor seating because the indoor accommodations become filled-up fast. The Kluckin Kop was recommended to me & I loved the blend of the provolone, honey mustard, and mayonnaise. I took pics of the boys orders, too. My son enjoyed the cold Chick Pea sandwich. My husband went with breakfast. We also each ordered a baked good. I can’t pass up a sweet. I also love the Hatchet coffee! It’s delicious! I’m glad I tried it. It’s my go-to when I’m visiting Boone. I highly recommend taking a bag or two home.
Check out my pics of other merch available. I also got to try the hibiscus lemonade and it was perfect to cool me down on this hot day.

I definitely want to come back & try more off the menu. Stick Boy leaves me wanting more. I’m hooked and you will be, too!

My girlfriend and I came here for lunch, we were instantly greeted by an amazing cashier named Emma she answered all of our questions with a smile and was super kind throughout us ordering. She brought us our food and drinks and everything was excellent. I got the Kitchen Chicken Biscuit and a Blueberry Matcha Lemonade, my girlfriend got the cool as a cucumber bagel and a Twilight Sparkling lemonade!
