Always lie about wait times to food delivery people
This was the best place to get a huge portion of food on a budget, but sadly the food quality has gone down. Onions in fried rice were undercooked and the chicken was very underseasoned.

I get things are more expensive but to raise prices and cut quality is a bad idea. Fried rice should be more than just soy sauce and chopped raw onions. Flavorless, bland, and disappointing. Should expect more when paying $80+ for four people. I won’t even get into the rest of the meal as everything went downhill from the fried rice. Being the most basic thing to produce on the menu it should be better. If it wasn’t a take out order I definitely would not of paid for this. A child could put together a better fried rice. This was on the level of something a drunk college kid that’s poor would slap together in a coffe pot, in their efficiency apartment or dorm room at 3 am. It’s a shame as we’ve enjoyed many meals there but alas this will probably be the last time.

Completely disappointing the egg drop soup had a thick gel consistency the general tso was actually orange flavored and sour no spiciness the fried rice was brown rice the vegetables weren't cooked enough the only good dish was the shrimp plus my allergy was triggered as soon as the food was brought to the table. It was not worth the$85 I feel I know a bit about the food because my mother-in-law is Japanese and she makes soup and veggies and rice etc all the time the waitress could tell that only 1 out of 4 was happy with the meal never again unless all we get is shrimp
The response was well received and perhaps the next time we are in town we will stop in but I will need to know if MSG AND OTHER TRIGGERS for my Allergies ARE IN which dishes that are served
We vacation in Boone every June and this was our first visit. The food was great, we shared the beef and broccoli and still had some to take home. The wait staff were mostly Appalachian students and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. This is a hidden gem and very much worth a visit.
My husband had eaten here about a year ago and said it was just ok, but we went back recently and were both very pleased. The service was great and so was the food. Lunch portions are generous and very reasonable. We will definitely go back.
The food was very good.
They were very busy and not courteous or friendly. I spent more than $30 on a meal for one and it took over 35 minutes to get my takeout order ready.
Did not check my order when I picked it up….
BIG MISTAKE!
Several things were incorrect.
We didn’t want broccoli w/ general To’s chicken. It looked like they gave us extra.
I’m sure that’s because they use it as filler.
Asked for extra soy sauce… they literally gave us 3 more…REALLY!
Had to pay extra for NO onions and we STILL got onions.
So my advise to anyone ordering food to go…
OPEN all your bags there at the restaurant, because I guarantee there will be something wrong or something missing.

I usually get takeout from here and enjoy the food that I get. The salmon roll from here is always good as well as their General Tso's, Orange, and Sesame chicken dishes. Tonight I had genuinely the worst sushi I've ever had. It was extremely wet and slimy to the point of dripping as I picked it up out of the package. I was also very disappointed in the very small amount of masago used as topping considering the price of this roll. I wish I could capture the slimy-ness in a photo.

We were in town for a weekend. We ordered from Taste and when we got back to the hotel, the order was wrong. When I called to ask about delivering the right order, I was told they did not do that but I could come in. Not really an option when you are only in town until the next morning.

Everything about this place is perfect. It was my partner and I’s first time eating here. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken and I’m serious when I say it was the best I have ever had. The plate was ginormous (I could probably eat this for the rest of the week), with a beautiful plating job as well. I recommend this to anyone and everyone and this was such a great price WE WILL BE BACK!

All tables were filthy and hadn’t been bused. There were 5 members of the front staff. Person ignored me when I first came in and then said to seat myself at a clean table. Which there wasn’t a clean table. They stuck me in the corner at a dirty two top and then ignored me. They greeted new tables after me and never came back. Left after 15 minutes.
