The lamb gyro was the best I've ever had. The restaurant is very difficult to find, in the second floor of a fitness club. No signs outside telling you it's there. It's a small comfortable place with a good menu and excellent service. The Greek salad was a disappointment.
Place was a bit out of the way. Didn't realize they have another place in town because it has a different name. It was unusually set in a sports complex. Felt like we were in a medical building. We were the only customers at the time. Our server was friendly. Ordered gyros and fries. It was ready within about 8 minutes. The gyros were very good, no complaints, although I have had better. I absolutely love Greek gyros especially since my trip to Greece.I have tried a few restaurants in North Carolina and have been disappointed.Well that was not the case at High Country Greek.The gyro was fantastic the fries were delicious and the atmosphere was great.I highly recommend going there. I know I will be going back
