Visiting from Florida for an annual ski trip, and we were recommended The Local by the front desk at our hotel. If I could rate this place 10/5 I definitely would. Service is quick, and the food is absolutely PHENOMENAL. Great atmosphere and wonderful servers, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice atmosphere. Really that's all I liked about this place.I got the fish and chips and honestly it was the most greasy fried fish I've ever been served.. Told the waitress and she replied yes we get that alot and she doesn't understand why its still on the menu. I wish she would have told me that before I wasted my $20..Really I took couple bites and it was not edible.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, but not a lot of seating. It’s a small place, which makes the atmosphere nice. Parking isn’t ideal. My son loved his flatbread! It was very good! My nachos were ok, but could’ve been better considering the price.

The Local in Boone is honestly such a good spot. The food came out hot and tasted super fresh, and everything we ordered was really good. The vibe inside is cozy and chill, not too loud, and it’s a nice place to actually sit and enjoy your food. The staff was really friendly and checked on us without being annoying. If you’re in Boone and don’t know where to eat, this place is definitely worth stopping at. Would 100% go back. 🍔
Our fish and chips were one of the best we have ever had! Let me also state my Bloody Mary was worth the price as well! Hannah our waitress was attentive, and super knowledgeable of the menu and was super sweet! Go see her and eat their food!

We had a group of 10 hungry people! They are open late, but the kitchen closes at 10pm. Not realizing the kitchen was closing we arrived at 10pm. They said they would take of us and they did. Food was out fast, hot, & delicious, with excellent service! Enjoyed wings, the Boonie Burger, Goat Cheese burger, and other things.
