If I could put 10 stars I would. This outstanding small Black-owned business is the hole in the wall you are looking for. When it comes to home comfort soul food this is the place hands down. The staff and warm and welcoming and greet everyone that walks in and out their doors. Okay okay thanks for asking YES ITS WORTH IT! This is not my first time coming here and will NEVER be the last. The pulled pork is great. The hotdogs are great the Ribs are Tender and juicy. The Mac n cheese( before they run out) yes it happens...moist and cheesy. The cabbage sweet and savory. Even entree comes with 2 peices of fat back. The FRIED CORNBREAD.....FRIED CORNBREAD. Made fresh and crisp and soft in the middle. Ladies and Gentlemen please go..don't walk..RUN. I DIDNT EVEN TELL YALL ABOUT THE DESSERTS. Everything is a MUST TRY!

The food was good, staff was friendly. We came up from Fayetteville to meet up with some family in the middle and picked this place to try out. Well worth the it and I’m glad we chose to come here. Great BBQ, chicken and the fried corn bread was excellent!

Everything was delicious but the cabbage took me to another place lol. First time there but definitely won't be the last. The food was amazing, the staff were amazing, and the owners were amazing. A must go restaurant. You won't be disappointed!!!

We asked Google for a good BBQ place and Woodard seemed to float to the top. Their barbeque was moist, well seasoned, tangy and slightly sweet. Their Collards were delicious as were the baked beans; they rounded out a nice meal. I wish the Hush puppies were not so well done. I remember more tender Hush puppies from the skillet of an old friend in Charlotte. Theirs were a little more crunchy than I prefer. But over all, Woodard Family BBQ & Grill was just what we were looking for.
