Wife and I took the GSMR and when we returned we decided to give it a try. Sign said “Best Burger in Town “ so we got a Mushroom Burger and a Slaw Burger with Fries and Tots!
Burgers were cooked perfectly and the Fries and Tots were super crispy and Hot!!!
Young Man brought it to the Table and was very polite!!

Boxcar cafe is located right by the depot and museum. We ordered lunch and our food came out in about 2 minutes.
The problem with that is that it’s not at all freshly made. Burger was barely Luke warm, cheese and mushrooms were right from the fridge cold.
The only thing that seemed freshly made were the fries.
I wouldn’t recommend.

First time visiting Bryson City on vacation and was looking for a good spot for lunch.
Came across this diner and wanted to give it to try. The woman running the counter was friendly and the cook said hello as well. I thought the pricing for a burger, fries and a drink was very reasonable and it came out great. I needed a good cheat meal on vacation and that definitely happened here. They even asked if the food came out ok and of course I said yes.
Definitely would come back please support local business like these folks!
