If you like Hawaiian- then try The Rice Wagon as it will most certainly check the box. Food and service were superb but was a little confused about dining at the establishment next door. All good there too and worth the visit!

Went here on our way to blue ridge and the smokies. The front guy was so nice and open to throwing recommendations to make decisions a lot easier after a long day of hiking and not wanting to think. The ahi tuna was amazing, sells out on weekends so grab it up! The burger was chargrilled and the grilled onions were so delicious and smoky. Came with a side of macaroni salad….which, Trust me, I hate macaroni salad but this macaroni salad actually was legit. Not slathered in a thick mayonnaise flavor. The price is fantastic, you won’t be hungry and neither will your pockets.

I was wary about stopping at The Rice Wagon for a Sunday afternoon lunch because of reviews mentioning bad service, but we visited anyway after hiking the falls along Deep Creek. The guy taking our order was nice and answered hubby's question about most popular menu items. We got the garlic chicken, kalua pork and hurricane chicken. I subbed the macaroni salad for Asian slaw. The garlic chicken was very tasty and definitely garlicky. I didn't like that some of the chicken pieces were stringy. Hubby said the pork was moist and flavorful. We both agreed the hurricane chicken was by far the best, and wished we'd ordered some to go. The sides were good. We'd ordered our plates and headed to the upstairs bar in the brewery to grab a table and try some drinks, but there were tables open at the food truck. Hubby went back down to pick up our food when he buzzer went off.
