“Hitting up Cold Stone at 8:30 p.m. when it is 28 degrees outside is not for the weak or the sensible. But for my family, this is peak decision making.

Somehow, this place restored my faith in what a “like it” is supposed to look like. I ordered the cheesecake specialty on a waffle cone and it absolutely understood the assignment. Creamy, sweet, and heavy enough to make you affirm your life choices in the best possible way.

Portion sizes were generous, like they actually want you to be happy, and service was quick even though common sense said everyone should have been home wrapped in blankets. Instead, we were standing outside eating ice cream in freezing weather, smiling like lunatics.
