My mom and I stopped in here after an evening of shopping. We were famished and this was a great choice. I ordered a family meal to take home to feed my husband and kids and my mom got a bbq plate. Everything was ready quickly even with my larger order. The food was delicious. Chicken was fried and seasoned perfectly and bbq and fixings were great. Stopped in on a whim. I got the BBQ sandwich combo. My wife got a hot dog combo and we grabbed a bowl of Brunswick stew.The food arrived fairly quick. My food was satisfactory but my wife’s fries were the only thing hot from the rest of the meal.The most disappointing thing for me was seeing one of the young ladies preparing the food, use her bare hand to answer phone calls on her Apple AirPods. We had a church function tonight for 70 people, and the contracted catering company dropped the ball on the date. With all 70 waiting the Hursey's in Mebane saved the day and had food ready for all 70 in 30 minutes! Incredible service and the food was delicious as always, thank you Hursey's!
