Our favorite lunch spot since we began vacationing in the Outer Banks around a decade ago! The food is always consistent(ly amazing), the staff is super friendly and attentive and you never are in need of something. Decor is super funky and there is no shortage of things to look at! We love the fish tacos, shrimp and corn chowder, and the house-made tuna salad! We try to get there early as this places gets PACKED as the shift goes on, especially as more families head off the beaches to look for food. But if you do have to wait for a table, it is super worth it!!!!

Buxton Munch isn't just a great place for lunch, it's a great experience! The food is delicious, well presented, and plenty of it. The service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is comfortable and it makes you feel like you belong there. The cost is reasonable and well worth what you get. We always look forward to lunch at Buxton Munch whenever we are staying on Hatteras Island.

The tacos are amazing. I've had both the mahi and the shimp. Portions are huge and more than enough to share. A favorite stop on our trips to the Cape Hatteras area.

Crabby Avocado Wrap was delicious and very filling you could really taste the crab and the avocado was a great touch. Seating took a little bit but it was very worth it crazy fun seats! Waiter was very kind and fun even gave me some of those food swords that go in burgers! Have games and things to do while waiting for food. We played trivia which was a blast and very entertaining. Would definitely recommend coming here with family and friends.

We get the blackened fish tacos for lunch here as much as we can justify it. The fish is perfect. The tortillas, rice, tomatoes, everything, are fresh and crisp and excellent. I can only say good things about this place, and these people. Already looking forward to fish tocos on our next vacation. ?

The staff and food is amazing! The fish tacos are worth the drive by themselves!!! Don’t like fish… get the chicken bacon ranch wrap. It’s almost as good ;) this is a MUST on your list to stop.
