Since we stayed at The Inn at Pamlico Sound, we decided to take advantage of the restaurant on site for our anniversary dinner. Ashley welcomed us and took care of us the whole evening. She was so nice and her service was efficient. The food was to die for! We had the Fried Cauliflower for an appetizer, I had the lobster bisque and the beet and arugula salad with a crab cake for dinner, and my husband had the scallops carbonara for dinner. Everything was fresh, very tasty and satisfying. We also had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. It was super rich and delicious. We also got room service for breakfast the next morning and the Chorizo Burrito is amazing. We were shocked at how big the burrito was. It had amazing flavor and was very filling. I would come back in a heartbeat!

when my now husband and i discussed marriage, i had already known the place i wanted to get married was the Inn on Pamlico Sound. he asked me to marry him Memorial Day weekend 2024, and we booked them as our venue the next weekend. Steve and Meredith and their team remained in constant communication with us regarding every detail, question we had, vendor choices, etc.
the dinner options were so hard to choose from but we ultimately decided on the taco bar - because, tacos, duh! we had the chipotle chicken, ground beef, and blackened catch of the day which ended up being mahi mahi. i’ve never been so hype to eat tacos in my life, everything was amazing! and then the home made tortilla chips and salsa just added icing to the cake! everything was delicious and was served hot and ready as our guests were seated - it wasn’t sitting in warming bins just waiting for the ceremony to be over.
not only is the venue itself beautiful and stands out, the food and staff made our experience and our guests’ experience truly unforgettable. my husband and i currently live on hatteras island and we will definitely be doing our anniversary dinners at Cafe Pamlico, and i’m already looking forward to it!!!

We spent the weekend at the Inn and enjoyed 3 meals here. The food was absolutely incredible and so was the service. I particularly loved the goat cheese dip appetizer, but every item we had was delicious. We look forward to returning. We were worried about being underdressed as we were on vacation, but everyone was dressed very casually

I’m gonna say very good but not great. First off, the service was extremely good. Waiter was quick, attentive, and personable. On the food front the crab cakes were excellent however the linguine was far too spicy (and I like spicy food). Desserts were good but again not exceptional. Frankly, for the money I expected just a bit better on the food front.

We ate dinner at this restaurant the night of our wedding five years ago and had brunch there Sunday never disappoints the shrimp and Grits we're probably the best I have ever had . The chorizo burrito was also excellent . We had bloody Marys and the lavender mimosa, both wonderful incredible service , lovely music and beautiful sound viewsas always highly recommend.

Our Yoga and Wellness Retreat at The Inn on Pamlico Sound was truly exceptional. Cafe Pamlico prepared a perfect menu for our group and the food was excellent and thoughtfully presented. The welcoming staff provided family-like warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home. Wine tasting with Natasha was fun and generous. The yoga deck was perfect for our practice, and the food was some of the best I've ever had. We can’t wait to return with our group next year!
