First time at Cafe Pamlico. We went for Sunday brunch. The food was absolutely excellent. The service was great. Our waitress was so pleasant and attentive. We absolutely plan to go again and again!
Enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner here. The food and service were fantastic. I would definitely come again and recommend Cafe Pamlico to any travelers who don't want to cook on the holiday. Pictured: turkey dinner, stuffing on the side, sweet potato crab bisque (absolutely dreamy), blood orange jalapeño Margherita.
Second time for dinner. First time as a date night and loved it…tonight we brought our 6 year old and had even a better experience. Truly kid friends with great food. Bodie says they have a great “cooker” he loves the lobster from the filet Neptune and..tried his first pomegranate seed and thoroughly enjoyed his first Shirley temple. Thank you Cody for great service.
my husband and I dined there last week for our anniversary and it was genuinely one of the best meals I've ever had. we've been there 4 times now and we plan to go every year going forward for our anniversary. our waiter, Dallas, was also incredible! I got the shrimp Diablo and I cannot wait to have it again. :)! we also had the lobster bisque and whipped goat cheese. both were incredibe!
Best Irish coffee I've ever had. Best omelet I ever had. I think my buddy cried a little in how unbelievably good the shrimp and grits were. Staff was amazing. Even the old dog that came out was friendly. Come here every time I come out this way for breakfast.

I was so happy to finally find a restaurant on the island offering vegan options on their dinner menu! I think this may be the only place. So THANK YOU for that. They also allowed us to bring our dog into the patio seating area and provided him with water. Our server, Cody, was very nice and attentive. The drinks were great and the coconut rice bowl + tofu I ordered was so tasty. We even got to meet the owner's dog, Maggie, who was a sweet old lady. She even ended up walking us out to the parking lot!

We got lucky and were able to sit at the bar since we did not have a reservation. I was so happy the original place we were going to have dinner was closed because this was one of the best dinners I have had. The whipped goat cheese is phenomenal! Husband enjoyed sheepshead and I had tuna. Both were cooked well and delicious. The pumpkin cocktail I had was also great. Tastes like you're drinking pumpkin pie. Staff were super nice as well. Definitely worth the extra $. Looking forward to next time.

Every time we visit Hatteras, we stop here for breakfast/brunch on our way out. We love the views, the atmosphere, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Husband and i wanted to always eat here. When we walked in for breakfast we were asked if we had a reservation. 9am in the morning. No one there. Then got sat at a table under stairs while a vacant table water side was available. Felt like second class citizens. Husband is a veteran, amputee and retired law enforcement. While husband was in bathroom i moved us to table that was vacant. Little girl tried to tell me the table was dirty and then proceeded to say “in the future. . . “ and i finished for her telling her we wont be back. Most unwelcoming experience in the OBX. Horrible hospitality and tons of snobbery for mediocre food. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! Oh and the coffee cups were chipped. See photos.
