Was exceptional. We traveled from Oklahoma, we regularly travel to the coast I love sea food the scallops were second to none. My wife is not a sea food person, but she knows a good steak being from Oklahoma that's what we do. Her steak was a 10/10. Really, possibly the best steak I've ever had, didn't expect that! The draw back is the price it's not cheap. But it is very good. If you stay and eat breakfast the shrimp and grits is awesome, I had it 4 mornings in a row.

First time at Cafe Pamlico. We went for Sunday brunch. The food was absolutely excellent. The service was great. Our waitress was so pleasant and attentive. We absolutely plan to go again and again!

We've been to Cafe Pamlico several times and it's been good - a step above the other local restaurants. The last two times it's been just okay for the price point. But the New Year's Eve dinner... the service was great but the food was mediocre. It was a four course dinner - soup, appetizer, entree, dessert. The onion soup was good. The oyster appetizer had so many flavors going on you couldn't taste the oyster. I ordered the seafood special which was served over a rice kind of medley. The rice was just ok but the fish was very dry and had no little flavor. I had just a couple of bites and declined to take the rest home. Our waiter said that other diners had said the same thing. Given that, it would have been nice if they'd taken a bit off the $300 bill. Yes, there was a bottle of wine in that price tag but it was a large bill for mediocre food. I doubt we'll go back.

Nice brunch! Great choice of mimosas and other brunch drinks. Food was good - nice variety of options. My entree was shrimp and grits and it was a little small compared to others at the table and my friends grilled cheese was light on cheese. Other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves. The live music and view really added to the atmosphere.

It was fabulous! We are visiting Nags Head with my parents and made a special trip to Cafe Pamlico for brunch to celebrate my dads birthday. Everyone had great time!

Enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner here. The food and service were fantastic. I would definitely come again and recommend Cafe Pamlico to any travelers who don't want to cook on the holiday. Second time for dinner. First time as a date night and loved it…tonight we brought our 6 year old and had even a better experience. Truly kid friends with great food. Bodie says they have a great “cooker” he loves the lobster from the filet Neptune and..tried his first pomegranate seed and thoroughly enjoyed his first Shirley temple. Thank you Cody for great service.
Cody was a great server. Music was great..volume was perfect. Often music is too loud for us to have a conversation. For was great and cocktails.

my husband and I dined there last week for our anniversary and it was genuinely one of the best meals I've ever had. we've been there 4 times now and we plan to go every year going forward for our anniversary. our waiter, Dallas, was also incredible! I got the shrimp Diablo and I cannot wait to have it again. :)! we also had the lobster bisque and whipped goat cheese. both were incredibe!

Best Irish coffee I've ever had. Best omelet I ever had. I think my buddy cried a little in how unbelievably good the shrimp and grits were. Staff was amazing. Even the old dog that came out was friendly. Come here every time I come out this way for breakfast.
