The atmosphere here is very relaxed. You would think it is a local fisherman spot. It very well may be, however the food is elevated and pricey( well worth it). The food was delicious and the drinks were well made and reasonably priced.

They were out of alot of food due to them closing for vacation but I'm sure the food would have been great. Beautiful location.

A real gem in the outer banks. The food was excellent and the service was good. The restaurant is nice on the inside.years ago you could not get high quality food out here but now things have changed. A little pricey but the quality is worth it.

Came here with my wife expecting a nice dinner, but ended up getting scammed. A few days later I checked my card statement and saw that the bar bill had been altered and the tip was inflated far beyond what I left for just two drinks.
When I called, the manager immediately admitted the tip entered was wrong, but instead of taking accountability she made excuses for the bartender, saying he was “having a bad day.” That’s not a mistake that’s tip fraud.
Worse yet, they didn’t issue a refund. Instead, they charged me again for the corrected amount, leaving me double-billed. After three weeks of waiting, nothing was fixed. I had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back.
If you value honesty and don’t want to risk being overcharged or scammed, avoid this place. There are plenty of other restaurants in OBX that don’t manipulate receipts.

Chocolate peanut butter pie was fantastic. Our waitress was fantastic. Drinks were excellent.

Fantastic food! Everyone was so pleased with their dinners. I even tried calamari for the first time and liked it! Waitress was super friendly and even recognized us in the grocery store later in the week. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible food with a beautiful view of the sound. Some of the best fried seafood you’ll get on the east coast.

Tracy, our server, was so sweet and helpful in recommending several different items on the menu.

My wife and I will be stopping here on every future visit to hatteras.

Sandbar and Grille : it was ok! We were seated at a table by the windows so we had a nice view! We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer that was pretty good! Something different to try!
We shared the shrimp scampi as a meal and it was ok! Will order something new to try the next time we visit! Unfortunately I can’t remember our servers name but she was very helpful.

This place was a bit of a drive from where we’re vacationing in Salvo, NC….definitely worth it though!
Menu is limited…no crab beyond crab cakes. DONT UNDERESTIMATE IT!
I got the Fried Shrimp and asked for it to be crispy and they did!
My son (9) LOVED the Flounder! Perfect kid portions for the price too!

Highly recommend!
Our server was awesome, a fellow born in upstate NY, which was cool bcuz we are from upstate NY as well!
All in all, 10/10.
