This is my go-to place for our of town friends, as well as with other locals. The tea selection is amazing (today I had Tower of London), the sandwiches and treats for High Tea are amazing, the service is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing. And I get to wear my most outrageous hats every time!Treat yourself!

Very cute little tea shop in Calabash, NC. I took my mother and she was delighted. It is a tiny little place, but jam-packed with knick-knacks, so larger folks (like me) should maintain body proprioception. Although this was a very pleasant experience for two adults, this shop would be ideal to host a little girl's Tea Party birthday. They have tons of hats and other kitsch one can wear to enhance the experience, and a private room in which to contain the chaos. All told, we very much enjoyed the experience, and congratulate our hostesses on their fine business. We will go back.

Holiday tea traditions with my friends. Great food, love all the teas and the apple pumpkin soup was amazing. Lovely staff and cozy atmosphere makes this a must. Make those reservations.

My favorite tea room! My family has been coming here for a few years and it is always top tier. They have a great tea selection, the food is delicious, the decor is beautiful, the service is always very attentive, and it means a lot that they prepared a special vegetarian tea for me! I also love their beautiful decor and tableware. I always look forward to coming here and I can’t wait for my next visit.Vegetarian options: Must tell them ahead of time but they will accommodate!

ONLY ONE POT OF TEA. I was surprised to learn that the $50 only includes one pot of tea. No one goes to a tea room for the food. If they did they would be disappointed by that too. $50 for one pot of tea and store bought snacks is ridiculous. Why offer so many varieties of tea and only let people try one each? This was a total disappointment. Also you don't have an option to pick which treats you would like and since it's December they had all peppermint things. Which no one cared for. The woman who worked there was not personable at all.Honestly it wasn't even worth taking my invisalign out for.If you want to go to a good tea place where you get unlimited pots of tea, great service and it'll only cost you $30 go to Hopeseewee Plantation. I've gone there 3 times now and haven't been disappointed. You can walk around the grounds, get a tour and they also have a museum.I was really hoping this place would be better as I love my tea. And I drove over an hour to get there. Definitely wasn't worth the drive.

This is my favorite place to go! I took my friend for her birthday in July and some other friends joined us. It is such a great experience!

I was in Calabash this weekend and was in the mood for some caffein. We found this nice little spot nestled in the side of the road. It’s very quaint quiet and very welcoming. If you’re in town don’t pass this place up for some pep in your steps.Check out their handmade souvenirs and trinkets.Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives, the sweetness to envy drink we had was lightly sweetened.Wheelchair accessibility: Wooden ramp leading into business’ front door.

The whole experience was quintessential cottage tea. They served on beautiful vintage tea cups and the decor was cozy shabby chic. We had the tomato bisque that was delicious served in cream soup double handle bowls and it was delicious. The ice water had little bird lemon squeezers (Loved). They had 70 teas to chose from served in individual vintage tea pots! The napkins were dainty hankies. The teas tier was full of delicious dainties. We LOVED it. You must have a reservation and they sit at 11:30 and 1:30.

Adorable place! Tiny; holds about 25 people at one time. You need a reservation! Tea was good; probably a little weak. Salad was good; could use more dressing which is a balsamic vinaigrette. Soups were decent. The strawberry one tasted Iike a strawberry yogurt smoothie though. Savory tea sandwiches quite good. Didn't care for the sweet tea sandwiches. The scones were good; a bit more clotted cream & lemon curd would be nice though. Dessert was tasty; delicious cookies and choc. dipped strawberries. The water with a cute lemon squeezer was a nice touch. It's about $45 pp if you get the soup plus a 20% tip. They absolutely expect the 20% tip too, so be warned! It was fun; would probably go again if had the opportunity or occasion. They give you hats to wear, if you want. They hang in the bathroom. But, no thanks! Not putting a hat on that other heads have worn!

Loved the ambience of the Victorian tableware, china, and decor! The service was good. The food was good. However, the tea was weak and lacked taste! I am a big tea drinker and have my own tea parties. I feel the tea was either not steeped long enough or not stored in airtight containers. Very disappointed with the tea!

We did the Ultimate tea. Reservations are required. Please note that this restaurant is cash only! I was told that over the phone very clearly and was prepared, but we saw two families that weren't. They had to go, get cash, and come back. The place is cute--very frou-frou. Ultimate tea comes with a pot of tea for each person, a small salad and the tea tray. You can get a cup of soup for an upcharge. The price was noted over the phone both with and without soup. The tea tray had 5 savories, a scone, and 3 sweets per person. All food was handcrafted. The scones were amazing! Two of the 3 sweets were fruit and the other was a madelein. One fruit was a decadant double dipped strawberry. All the savories would be classified as finger sandwiches. It was all vegetarian friendly except the one topped with smoked salmon, which would still be pescatarian friendly. I used to work at a tea room myself. There are things I liked about this one better and things I liked about ours better. Prices were comparable, with this one being a little cheaper than ours. If you like Formal Tea, this is worth the trip. Make sure to make your reservations at least a week out.

Imagine a hot pot of your favorite tea in your own pretty pot, a three-tier tray of gorgeous apps and delicious soup as well. It is a tiny place (with hats in the ladies room you can wear at the table). They even have a special tea and food dish for your lil princess.

I was recently unable to keep a reservation I had made as treat for myself and family. Kathy called because we had not kept reservation. She kindly offered to pack up the order for me to pick up. The sandwiches cookies and tea was awesome! We missed the atmosphere of the tea room but will definitely be back!
