The Oyster Rock Waterfront Seafood

Our waiter was Fantastic!! Always there! Food was phenomenal! Bert I've had there! I got the shrimp. Nothing fancy. BUT the HUBS got the ribeye!! Honestly it looked like a small roast!! He said the collards were great!! Of course we had leftovers and will enjoy them for lunch today!!

The best restaurant in the Myrtle Beach/Calabash area. No other place can match the service and food, coupled with an amazing environment. Jeff is a phenomenal server!

The food was great. The portions are very good and everything was the right temperature. The service we received was lacking. Our server flew by once and asked us how everything was. He spent more time at the other tables around us. It took a while when we were finished to get the bill.

Keith our waiter was great, efficient, and professional. We were seated on the enclosed patio, there was also a group of 16 on the patio. The noise level was crazy! We had to lean into our table to hear each other The food was amazing - lesson learned in the future will only reserve -inside only where the noise was at a much more acceptable level even with more people inside versus the patio.

Had the best night with Olivia as our server! She took great care of us! Food was terrific! Drinks at the bar also wonderful with one of our favorite bartenders...so sorry her name escapes me. Will be sure to ask upon our return.

A wonderful experience as always!!! Celebrating my husband's birthday, this is our restaurant of choice!!! We have lived in Calabash for 7 years; this is the Best Place in town!!! Great food, definitely not boring as the daily specials frequently change!!! Great Beer offerings also!!! We highly recommend to all!!!

Oyster Rock remains a must go to in all of the Grand Strand. Being a seafood restaurant, uncanny The Oyster Rock serves 5 star steaks, lamb and elk chops. During the warmer months you can boat to their attended docks, nothing more enjoyable. My family's favorite is The Rock.

We got a table on the waterfront, and the waitress could not have been nicer. The meal was delicious and I would be happy to go back.

This restaurant is outstanding in every way! The food and service are always excellent! My family always eat here every time we come to the beach.

Oyster Rock NEVER disappoints. From the moment we sat down, everything was perfect. Greeyed promptly, drinks arrived quickly, appetizer arrived promptly and was delicious (boom boom shrimp). Our meals were fabulous. Ribeye, fried shrimp and scallops, sea bass w miso glaze (CHEF's KISS!) and grouper over risotto I think. Everything was prepared just as ordered and simply perfect. 100% recommend.

Incredible food as always! The service was exceptional as well. The noise level was just a bit much .

Excellent she crab soup. Fantastic fried shrimp and oysters with very generous portions. Very good crab cakes. Main complaint is that the cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, ketchup and honey butter all come in very very small containers. Had to keep asking for more. The metal chairs look rustic and cool but are hard on the butt after an hour! 😁. Overall the food is very good. Highly recommend.
