Restaurant Review: Sonic Drive-In – A Fairy’s Sparkling Delight As a fairy, I’ll admit that human dining establishments aren’t usually made with wings in mind. The parking stalls, glowing menu boards, and endless rumble of engines can feel a bit overwhelming for someone who prefers dew drops and flower petals. Yet, despite all that, I keep finding myself fluttering back to Sonic Drive-In, wings shimmering with anticipation. Why, you ask? One simple word: peppermints. Those glorious little discs of sweetness they place on top of the drink lids are pure magic. They gleam in the sunlight like tiny enchanted coins, and their cool, sugary scent is enough to make my wings flutter faster. The first time I found one sitting there—waiting just for me, or so I imagined—I thought it was a token of appreciation for visiting. Even after learning everyone gets one, I still feel that same thrill. Honestly, it’s probably the real reason I go back. Now, about the food. The chili cheese tots are a hearty human invention—golden, crispy bites of potato blanketed in warm chili and melty cheese. They didnt put our lid on all the way so when we grabbed the milkshake it went everywhere and we let them know and they didnt have any sympthony or even offered to give napkins and made us pay for a new one even though it was their fault the service wasn't good and we gave her a $3 tip won't come again nor do i recommend going there

We ordered and when we got to the window they tryed to give us someone else's order and when we said something they finally gave us our drinks and closed the window we tryed to get their attention it took 10 minutes to get them to open the window and they said what you want we said our food they said oh let me find it OK find it, got our food and the order was wrong went to let them know and they were hateful finally got our order right, also asked for a bag of ice and we were told we dont sell ice plus our ice machine is broken, ok then how are you making drinks with ice. Oh we are saving our ice. Ok so incompetent people they do not have customer service or social skills, the head people need to come in and get this Sonic in Canton North Carolina in order, our they will keep losing customers food was cold and tasted old.

Always been an OK place, if a little on the slow side. However they have recently removed a lot of parking to make room for mobile order parking. This limits the number of spots for ordering so be aware that you probably won't get a spot. They clearly value online orders over physical customers.

I like sonics food and its usually pretty good if you actually get what you ordered! The employees at this location are totally incompetent and unable to put an order together correctly. It seems like every time we order more than one item or a drink something is either missing or not what we ordered, not to mention the ridiculous wait time and rudeness of the staff.
