We have been going to Flamming Amy's in Wilmington for years. Over time the quality of flavor has decressed, so this time we decided to try the Carolina Beach location. What we suspected turned out to be reality. The food was not up to pare. And the service was even worse. Not a place that I recommend any longer.

I’ve seen the bumper stickers where I’m from and had high hopes. If you’re starving, in a rush and short on cash then this place is great. If you’re just looking for a good burrito then I would not recommended eating here. I had just a basic burrito with fajita like filling and steak and it’s was shocking bland. I could confidently say 0 seasoning were used in the prep and cooking process. I used their salsa bar to help combat the lack of flavor but the salsas were also on the bland side. They parking was good, the service was ok, the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time.

Meh. Food isn't very flavorful. Drinks are small and weak. Atmosphere is plain. You place your order at the counter and retrieve it from the counter. If they make a mistake they fix it, which os good. Salsa selections are interesting.

the food is not hot, the chips are greasy, and the seasonings on the meats aren't very good either
the utensils were dirty and the atmosphere is not even close to the wilmington location. the only good thing about my meal was my dr pepper

This place has gone downhill. Just skip the bland and overpriced food here. Their fountain drinks are flat and the workers don’t want to fix it and will give you attitude.

Food comes out quick . I think got options for most people including vegetarians with tofu options. Like it’s not bad food . I would stick to the burritos though . Get a bunch of the salsas to enhance the taste. I don’t feel like the ingredients are great so you need the salsas for flavor enhancement. They should also think about doing hot sauces like a variety, they would also help.

None of the pre-built burritos or other dishes are vegan but you can veganise a build your own. I ordered online and it was confusing as the 'base' for the burrito says it comes with rice, salsa, cheese and sour cream. I wrote a note specifying not to add these and it was acknowledged. Food was good, just confusing to order online.
