HopLite Irish Pub and Restaurant

First time for us. We came on trivia night. Very friendly atmosphere. Great food.

Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash

Wild atmosphere, authentic Irish food, and ever better beer. Unfortunately the 3 stars is for the fish & chips making most of my family sick-could’ve been the batter but it was delish to taste. Many Irish options making it a bit difficult to find any vegetarian options.

The bingo nights are fantastic, the whole place felt like it was shaking with people singing and laughing. Could’ve have picked a better place to bring my newly retired dad-meet some people & see others doing the same.

We had fish and chips. It was very good. Only problem drunk Karen behing us sitting at bar shouting to people beside her so loud and annoying totally ruined our meal. So many asinine people in this city.

We had an amazing evening at HopLite. The food was delicious and the service was incredible! It was a great place to watch the Carolina Hurricanes or any event for that matter. We all had a wonderful time!

The food is great!! As a New England girl, it’s difficult to find good authentic fish and chips in the south. Theirs was pretty good! The atmosphere is a classic pub-feel. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Ordered an appetizer that came out the same time as the entree. The side on the entree was cold. The slaw was tasteless. The only redeeming part was the onion rings.

Got Togo food this evening while I was in town. The Rueben was outstanding, tempura fried Provi sticks were great, and I got their key lime pie dessert special which was devoured. Very happy with my meal this evening!

Shared a couple appetizers with friends. Portions so big we had to go food.
With the Mac and cheese bites we had options with jalapeños in them. So good !!

I got the fish and chips to go and was surprisingly pleased with the portion sizes ?! I got three huge pieces of cod with a good amount of fries. I was pleased. The only thing I can say is it didn’t taste seasoned really so The fish not being a flavorful fish to begin with didn’t help lol honestly just tasted batter but it had a nice crisp to it and it was still good. Definitely going to go back!!
