The prosciutto and fig pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! One of the employees recommended it and he wasn’t lying! The Korean bbq wings were also yummy. There was another employee who took my order and she was friendly and helpful. If I didn’t live out of town, I’d definitely be back!

They were flexible, respectful and relaxed while also making an incredibly consistent product, which was great time and time again. Pizza took a little long and when we got it, it was practically a mess. Toppings (cheese included) sliding straight off the slices, pizza was not even cut properly, very greasy and just soggy. The restaurant was too hot to sit and eat in even though they had an industrial fan out, so we sat outside

Placed a takeout order online...pizza was still hot and salad was cold and crisp when I picked it up. Everything was still the perfect temperature when I got home to eat it. The lemon vinaigrette for the Greek salad is soooo good, I wish they sold bottles of it. Customer service was perfect...just an overall great experience. Shout out to the individual working who helped me package up everything. She was so kind and helpful.

My wife and I stayed at an inn nearby and ordered a pizza for her to pick up. The pie was ready when promised, hot fresh and delicious! My wife loves extra cheese and rarely do our usual places give enough to make her happy but Amantes was perfect. The other ingredients were cut and distributed just the way we like and the crust was marvelous. I just wish that they had a restaurant near where I live!
Guy Fieri should put this place on Diners Drive-Ins & Dives. Don't let the strip mall storefront fool you. Nor the kids working the counter. I am an Italian & ex-patriot Brooklyn native & this is the closest thing to my Grandmother's Sunday dinner that I have ever found in North Carolina. The house salad was all romaine no iceburg. The balsamic vinaigrette tasted homemade. There were even artichoke hearts in it. The mozzarella seemed to be hand breaded. The marinara tasted like it had been on slow cook since dawn. The garlic knots were very real. The penne was al dente & they seemed to give me a whole box of it. There was fresh shaved romano & fresh basil on top. It was like going back in time to the old neighborhood. My Southern wife special ordered the cheese lasagna with pesto & they even accommodated that unusual request. We did not have the pizza but for an authentic Sunday dinner it's the real thing. I wish they were not sold out of tiramisu I'm sure it's great too. If eggplant parmesan was on the menu it would be even better. The portions were so big we took half of it home in a box. Fresh sunflowers on the outdoor tables a very nice touch too. MOLTO BENNE!

I have been a regular customer for years. Lately though when I call an order for a simple sub and get there around the 25 minutes they tell me I have had to wait another 15 minutes or so because it was not ready. I understand that times vary depending on how busy they are but the few times it was not busy. Also last time one of the cooks was throwing a hissy in the back cussing out one of the managers. This is uncalled for as patrons are waiting and can clearly hear what is being said. For the prices charged here I would expect better.
