Ate here several times 4-5 years ago, went back again today and it was as good as ever. Wide variety of items on the menu so I can always try something new and unusual if I want. Server was excellent at answering questions about the various dishes.
This restaurant offers subpar service, despite the quality of its food. Similar quality food can be found elsewhere at similar price point. If you are craving Sichuan cuisine and there are no nearby options, and you are willing to wait an extended period (sometimes up to an hour), then this restaurant may be worth trying.
We've been to China several times (Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Beijing) and have a sense of authentic Chinese cuisine. You just don't find a "real" Chinese restaurant in a State like North Carolina. We just don't have the immigration which would bring that. At least that is what I thought.
