Cool place, but the service is unbeatable. Went for the first time today, was helped out by A-Rod, who was really good at making you feel welcomed and helping you learn more about kava and find exactly what would work best/what you're looking for. Great place, plan on going back

Go for the kava and stay for the conversation. The regulars are the best/most fun. Friendly owner with great managers and bartenders. Never had a bad time. The blond guy that plays computer games in the corner is the friendliest person I have ever met...he seems like the kind of person where nothing aggravates him.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life here. I use to come here with my friends all the time and hang out and it was great even though the kratom is ridiculously overpriced. But I understand they have to pay their rent. So I was there by myself one afternoon and had to use the restroom (single stall , with a faulty lock) and was fixing my hair before I left and this man opened the door on me. I didn't think anything of it, went about my bussines. A week or two passed after I had been there once or twice and the owner confronts me and tells me a patron caught me doing drugs in the bathroom and she has had me under surveillance for the past week, selling drugs on the property and that she's a lawyer, friends with law enforcement, she has me on camera, and wouldn't listen to a word I said and basically told me I could either let her manager berate, and scream at me outside in front of a bunch of customers, or she was going to report me to the police. I regret not totally standing up for myself and it eats away at me. So that's why I'm posting this.
Great kava bar! I've been drinking kava for almost 20 years in Florida and this place definitely compares in product and atmosphere.

I am in the process of moving the stress, the anxiety, the freaking back pain. I went in yesterday and met an angel named Antonio without asking he handed me a cool cup of water. (Was this man psychic, did he read my thoughts, was he angel?) I bought a cup of tea and some loose leaf tea and it has helped so much... just like a libation from heaven I felt like a human being again. So it has been decided that Antonio is an angel and I will definitely return and you should visit too. The vibe alone is peaceful and welcoming. Thank you Antonio

the bartender julia was super friendly and informative. the place has a really good vibe and yummy drinks. my only complaint is that the drinks are a bit expensive but in my opinion they’re worth it for the quality and experience.
