Milltown

Generally, I like Milltown And was excited when I walked in tonight to see some changes in the floor layout! Ordered a Manhattan (yes, I know it's mostly a great place for beer, but I love a good Manhattan). I asked that it be up (and expected it be shaken), it came neat, room temp and with the bartender scurrying over to dump some bitters in (supposed to be a dash) that was prob a good Tbsp. I blame myself: It's a great place for beer.

This place was so good! I got the vegetarian plate with side salad, roasted mushrooms, elote, and a pretzel bun. It was yummy! The pretzel bun was so nice and warm when it arrived. I'll probably be dreaming about it for the next few weeks/years. The mushrooms were the perfect texture and so flavorful! I've loved this place since I moved here 7 years ago. Beer is still great. However, they became nit picky with something as insignificant as beer cheese and mustard with the pretzels. I had to question the fee for asking for a full 2 Tablespoon cup of both.
