Love seeing family owned spots w kids running around, great food on the menu, a cute/clean dining area, and smiles and kindness.

I've been working right next door to this place for a couple of weeks now. I've tried their Perogi's, Kielbasa sandwich, and several of the daily sandwiches. The authenticity and passion that they put into their food is phenomenal! So much to the point that I had to write a review, which I never bother to do.

What they are doing here is distinct and unique! It's not often that you find a restaurant that brings the old world palette to the new world and manages to compete with the local competition! Don't skimp out on this place, because it is a gem?

Food is very tasty! But $15 for 6 pierogies is pretty pricey. Would be 5 stars if it was a reasonable price.

I had a great experience at the Flying Pierogi. The owner was extremely nice and personable. The food was terrific and the atmosphere felt like a home cooked meal. I cannot wait to return my business soon!

This place is so wonderful! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful. The people who work here really care about you and your happiness! They also have trivia on Fridays which is really fun. I’m very happy to have found them and I feel they are a hidden gem of carrboro without a doubt.

We had a fantastic dinner last night. Our food (Chicago dog, Carolina dog, onion rings and 6 pierogis) hit the mark! Very authentic and delicious. The onion rings were amazing!

What a gem! My husband and I had a delicious lunch of bacon cheddar pierogi's over an arugula salad (which we normally hate), with sliced kielbasa on the side - so good!

Wonderful craft made Pierogi meals for $15?? We tried 3 different pierogi meals the spinach, beef and potato and they were all equally delicious. The very fresh bed of arugula salad was lightly dressed and honestly I am so glad we went. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

Me and my Family got the Pierogis and it was absolutely Delicious! The Kraut&Mushrooms were great and the service was really nice too! The lady at the front was very nice and gave us a sample of the Kraut to try it. The staff members were all nice overall. I highly recommend this place!

The Corned Beef Reuben with sauerkraut was amazing, as was the Jalapeno pierogi! We love right up the street and I can't wait to walk down to have drinks and do a trivia night 🩷

So I decided to check this place out. They're super close to where I live in the area; which is a plus!

Anyways, I got 2 hotdogs and a bag of chips. For that, I was charged nearly $25!! Ridiculous! Don't get me wrong, the food was excellent but not $25 excellent for lunch. I can get a gas station hotdog for a fraction of the cost and it taste just as good.

The service was kind and friendly. According to the lady behind the counter, these guys have been open since April. Yet, when you look around inside, they're whole shelves just empty, baskets in the front of the check-out area, empty. I get they may be "new", but why not have your act together and stock your shelves?

I've been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. Helped open alot of places, and I can tell you if you don't set your location up right from the start, it can affect consumer confidence. To me, it looked like the had just enough money to get started and then just stopped stocking the rest of their goods. It's supposed to be a deli right? So where's the fresh bread, the deli meat (there was only like 3 choices in their see-through cooler)??

Might be back, might not? If they're charging $25 for 2 hotdogs and chips...lord knows what they'll charge for a sandwich!
