Beware Carthage folks!! My daughter and her friends went to McDonalds in Carthage today for lunch and all had Chicken Nuggets and they are ALL deathly sick now and throwing up. I called to address my concern with the manager to hopefully circumvent any future sicknesses for anybody else. The "manager" was EXTREMELY rude to me and told me the were SafeServ certified and they temp all their foods as it's prepared and they aren't allowed to serve it. I just needed to give a quick shout out to the workers at the McDonald’s in Carthage (attached to the Shell Station). Their sign on the drive-through stated they are understaffed and currently only accepting cash (there was also an impressive drawing of a person trying to do 10 things at once 😄). McDonald's is a reliable spot for morning essentials like vanilla iced coffee, sausage McMuffin, and hash browns. The lunch menu is also a hit, with the McDouble being a favorite. The owners of the store are incredibly nice. The staff is friendly and gracious, and the food is always hot, fresh, and made correctly. The drive thru does a good job and orders are correct.
