Pik N Pig is hands down the best barbecue I’ve had in all of my travels. Best the USA has to offer. Their brisket is tender and stupid good! Sauces — hands down delicious. North Carolina pulled pork—you have not lived until you’ve had it. We always go with the fried okra, and put some jalapeño butter on your hush puppies. If you eat outside the small planes on the adjacent airport give a nice show. It’s always packed, so be patient—it’s worth the wait—or order takeout if you’re too hungry to stand up!!

Pulled pork and hush puppies were great, brisket made me sad. The location was amazing and the staff were the nicest people you'll ever meet. Great sauces. Definitely worth a stop.
Kid-friendliness: Kids will love sitting outside and watching the planes takeoff/land
My waitress was having a bad day...outside of that the food is great. New building post the fire is nice and roomy. Clean and a new outdoor patio to watch the planes is great. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

Very, very cool BBQ spot on private airfield. So fun to dine while observing small craft takeoffs & landings. The fact that the BBQ is also excellent should also encourage you to give'em a try!
