Best fish plates I’ve had. They have flounder and catfish. Years ago the cook promised me the catfish was the best. Honestly had my doubts but he was 100% true. I’ve had it many times and it’s terrific. Great BBQ too. Can’t go wrong at Stubbs and Son.
My "must go to" place when in NC. Super quick service inside & always get the food hot. I went for BBQ chicken & pulled pork, but since the Wednesday Special was Ribs - I just had to get another plate! Oh My! The flavor of their meats are top notch. Chicken, ribs, & pulled pork are the best around. The cashier & back staff are always friendly, seeming to have a good time with each other in their banter, and the place is welcoming. When I walked in, the smell of the bbq was awesome. The food tasted even better than it smelt. The customer service was very friendly, and they recommended options to feed my family and save money. I plan to eat there again. My wife and I highly recommend their banana pudding.
