“Cha House has a very relaxed atmosphere for people of all ages. They have an extensive menu full of different types of fruit teas, milk teas, coffee, and food. I have tried a lot of their menu items and have never been disappointed. The employees have a welcoming attitude and are very kind. They are also understanding of any custom changes to drinks and food. Lastly, the atmosphere is very calm and beautiful with flower print on the walls, greenery throughout the store and natural wood tones.Parking: Next to multiple stores so there is a very large and free parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with lots of cute accessories all around to keep kids attention.“

“I ordered the signature steamed buns, chicken chop rice, and braised pork rice. They were all delicious! Especially the fried chicken steak, it felt like I was back in Taiwan in a second! I'm so happy that I can taste the taste of my hometown here, and it tastes very good. Really recommend! Will go back to try other items!“

“The food was really good. We went with a friend who is Chinese and she ordered for the whole table. We got 14 different plates of food. I would recommend the 'Squirrel Fish' it's fried fish served in a sweet sauce. The eggplant was also good and our favorite were the greens with garlic. Excellent. The dumplings aren't worth it. The dough was too thick. And the service wasn't great. But overall we had an enjoyable experience.“

“My mother always said try everything once but if you repeat, make sure the taste justifies the calories. So I created a measurement called the taste to calorie ratio. Let me tell you... Heirloom gets an extremely high taste to calorie ration. As a coffee house they are wonderful. The atmosphere is light, airy, bright white like a cool Asian hip place. The coffee shop pastries have a decided Asian flap or to them which is amazing and a remembrance for me. And their drinks are wonderful - my Matcha Latte stands solidly against the best I have had. The owners Chicken/Rice Porridge is exquisite... with its fried crispy ginger added to the porridge. Amazing!!! Now the dinner!!! WOW!!! It blew my socks off. They are open Wed-Sunday only. And a limited but amazing menu of small plates and large plates. Be warned, the small plates are a mean in themselves. Everything has a fusion Asian bent to it. And how deliciously it is delivered!!! And BTW... Highly recommend ordering the Yuzu Sake! They have a mix of veg and non-veg. And delicious dishes... some subtle and some bold. The Japanese foundation is clear. Their selection of Sake and other Asian drinks is vast. The food is just the best. I have been looking for an Asian place I felt I can reliably go to which gives me great food. Well ladies and gents, this is it. And owner is kind and compassionate. I am a big supporter of local, family owned, and or female/minority run business. The place is all this detail... But honestly the food by itself is all you need. It's just darn right delicious and predictably so. Enjoy!!! Taste to calorie ratio is off the charts and this please!“

“9/10 I have a soft spot for this place and will literally come back for just one dish.We came here on Lunar new year and the staff took care of us.I will only be reviewing this one food item as it is a must try. I have mentioned in other reviews that I am ancestrally from Sichuan. This dish gave me a taste of “home”.Spicy grilled Sichuan fish:9.5/10 - I rarely give food items anything above an 8, but in terms of flavour this place can be as good as genuine places in Sichuan (maybe depends on chef’s mood). This is the dish I come to and get my Sichuan cuisine fix. It is whole grilled fish soaked in Sichuan chillies and peppercorn broth. True Chinese style (with bone) and true authentic flavouring, it’s not actually very spicy compared to the true Chinese counterparts, but I can’t handle all that much spice (sad considering my heritage, I know) so this is good for me.How did I hear about this dish? A friend of mine from Chengdu (Sichuan) tried this restaurant and excitedly came to tell me this Sichuan fish is arguably better than many places in Sichuan. If there’s anything you should know, if a local who just came to the US comes and tells you their home dish actually tastes like home here, you better believe they’re not kidding. I had to personally vet this and I wholeheartedly agree. Tempted to give it a 10/10 given that this place is in NC, maybe I’ll come back and revise the score.“
