I was very disappointed in my smoothie. I ordered and Acai Berry Boost, which I get every single time that I go to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I did not taste it or look at it until I got to work. It was almost black. I had to leave work and go back to get it remade. The remake was still not completely right, but it was much better. This was very inconvenient for me. The person working there was very nice though and she was working alone so I tried to have some grace for her.

I just picked up a açai bowl to go because I was in the area and not near my normal place. Huge mistake. I was shocked how fast I got it, should have been a red flag. Got home, it's frozen solid. Everywhere else in town makes a fresh base. This base was a frozen chunk of base. Must have been pulled directly out of a freezer. It's chunky and ice crystal filled. 30 minutes later it’s still a solid rock of base. At 12 bucks, it's also so much smaller than their direct competition in the area. Never again. Waste of 12 bucks! It’s not even worth the calories to eat it.

Hayley was super friendly and personable and went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. This particular location was the cleanest one I’ve been too (not than any of them are dirty) but it was such an outstanding experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and trying whatever Hayley recommends again!

$9 for a chicken quesadilla and there's hardly anything in it. Cook Out and Taco Bell put more in theirs. Guess I need to just stick to smoothies going forward.

The smoothies themselves are great, but I feel so upset seeing how the workers were treated. The manager (Haley) was talking so degradingly to employees and didn't even wash her hands after coming out of the bathroom while I was there. I have a hard time supporting a company that hires managers that treat their staff so poorly- especially since most appear to be in high school.

I absolutely love this place and the manager is so welcoming and so kind. It makes you feel special when they remember you and remember your order. Things are so fast and digital now it’s nice having that old time welcoming and be treated special . I have never had a bad experience even if they mess something up ( because we are humans ) it’s fixed with smiles and apologies. I hope the company knows what a great manager they have at this location.
