“Just wish they were open on Monday.. don’t like having to travel into Wilmington to go to Double Happiness ..oh well. Their food is great, self serve to side packets, ie soy sauce, hot mustard, orange sauce, fortune cookies..etc. I recommend.. open on Monday!“

“DO NOT USE THE “ORDER ONLINE” SERVICE! “Bring Me That” is not affiliated to the restaurant and they will charge your account almost double what your order costs! They also won’t send the correct order in. Beyond that, love the place! The people who work there are very kind and the food is great!“

“They have the best Shrimp Fried Rice and fried chicken wings you will ever find. I always add extra shrimp to the fried rice. I live 30 minutes away but it's worth the travel. It is a family owned business. The food is always fresh and cooked to order.“

“I ordered online and arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes early. The lady in front of me told me that the food hadn't started yet. I ordered two roast pork lomein, two sesame chicken, one orange chicken, one sweet sour chicken, and one seafood delight. They completed my order in just 15 minutes, and my family was very satisfied with the food when we got home.“

“Got the orange beef (tender, flavorful, w/actual slivers of orange peel!), shrimp w/veggies & chow mein (shrimp was plump, juicy, veggies nice & crisp), and spring rolls (tad salty for me, but still good and not too greasy). Somehow the spring roll wrapper soaks up a lot of grease while keeping the roll super crispy. Even the rice was fluffy, fragrant, and not a giant soggy ball of goop like most Chinese takeout joints I’ve tried around here. Everything tasted like the Chinese restaurant dishes I ate at growing up back home on the west coast and made me feel nostalgic. Even the cute staff working here were really sweet! Kinda mad it took me 2+ years of living around here to find our Chinese takeout joint but glad we know about it now!🥹“
“Amazingly good Bourbon Chicken, which is so hard to find, and super tasty Baby Bang Chicken with LOADS of their excellent fried rice which actually has some veggies and, can't believe it, scrambled egg, which is the REAL way to make fried rice!! The man there this afternoon was so kind and friendly, lots of free samples, and enough food for 3 meals for UNDER $10 BUCKS!!! Thanks, I'll be enjoying it for a few days!!“

“Excellent food sesame chicken is my favorite and Owner keeps the place spotless clean, food is cooked fast and is delicious. If you want good chinese food and service come here. Some of these 1 star reviews are dishonest and don't tell the full story with people recording things and threatening the owner also refusing to leave, yelling making a scene and making everybody uncomfortable. He is very fair.“

“I have loved everything that I have tried and anything that I had any issues at all with were quickly corrected with a smile on their faces. Steve the owner remembers my order no matter how long it may have been since I've ordered. That shows me he cares about his customers! keep up the great work and the employees aren't to shabby either.“

“Friends highly recommended, and it was worth the drive. We got the Sesame Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken. This is traditional Chinese takeout- very good! Not everyone on staff is an English speaker, but the ones that interact with the public are super friendly and helpful. I like the fact that they keep the duck sauce, soy sauce, and hot mustard out where you can easily get what you need. It’s always ready in 10 minutes. Solid option that will not disappoint. Generous portions also!“

“Consistently good Chinese food! We have never been there, we always order from Uber eats and they deliver, but orders always come fresh and hot. And this is one of the few restaurants that serve egg foo young Wilmington.“

“Mama J has the best food in the area. She grows her own veggies and will likely offer you a succulent in some weirdly cute container. Her kimchi is the ONLY kimchi worth eating and her kimchi soup is sooo good! Her egg rolls are also amazing and made fresh!“
