Bogue House Restaurant is a small establishment with a service counter where you order and seat yourself. Despite limited seating, the food arrives quickly and is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful, serving dishes such as fried shrimp, flounder, catfish, okra, mac n cheese, and seasoned fries. The flounder platter with collards, mac & cheese, and okra is a standout, and the welcoming staff ensure a pleasant dining experience. This place is a gem. Food is always good. The food and staff are excellent. The employees there are always so smiley and happy to help. They are amazing here! You can bring your kids and your grandma. The staff were very welcoming and nice. Chicken tenders were home made and my son loved them and the macaroni and cheese and fries. My shrimp and okra and green beans were amazing. Other things I tried was bbq, Brunswick stew and flounder - all delicious. Go for delicious food in a no frills environment, you won’t be sorry.
