“We were starving and this was a good satisfying stop . I took a cheeseburger with chili, added hot sauce in it and it was perfect . I finished my daughter hot dog . Service was excellent , we didn’t know what barbecue was and the waitress brought us a LARGE sample . In the end it looks like a kind of pulled pork or something like that .”

“The food was hot&fresh and the employees were nice&friendly. I placed a mobile order & wanted to drive thru but it was closed. So I had to go in and that made me wish I had not ordered. The place was dirty, napkins on the floors, poop on the toilet and the sink needs some Lysol and a magic eraser. The woman that helped me had just came from the restroom was acting nonchalant like that smell&mess was normal. The food wasn’t started til I checked in so that’s what made it fresh&hot. All the other times I had stopped here and an older man was working. The place was spotless. He definitely needs to train whomever was working today. There was no other customers besides me so people should’ve been cleaning but I don’t work there so idk. Places is usually clean. I guess it’s avoided on Sunday.”

“Every time we stop in on our way to Myrtle Beach we make a point to stop here. The restaurant is always very clean. Our order is taken promptly. The manager always makes sure the order is correct and that I have everything I need before leaving. We have never had a bad meal from here.”

“Best croissants I’ve had, they aren’t too sweet and are perfectly flaky. The customer service is always top notch. Bill is Gold. I came into town to do some community relations work with an afterschool program and their machine wouldn’t take my corporate AMEX card. I left with a personal dozen, and do you know Bill ran outside with the dozen croissants and cupcakes I ordered for the program and said “You don’t leave here without these”. I insisted no as this was a work related expense and it’s ok I understand some places don’t take AMEX. He was adamant I take them and pay it back later. Talk about Southern hospitality, I love my hometown and appreciate the staff at Darel’s for always reminding me of why I keep coming back !!! 🥰🥴🥴🥰”

The food was excellent and pricing was very reasonable! They were so accommodating, checking in with us often to see if anything additional was needed. “I WRITE THIS IN HOPES THEY WILL RESPOND WITH CHANGES TO THE TIME COOKING THEIR CHICKEN LIVER. I DO LOVE GOOD LIVER AND FIND IT NOWHERE COOKED LIKE IT SHOULD BE. THEY OVER COOK TO THE POINT IT IS BLACK AND HARD EVER BRITLE. PLEASE ADJUST YOUR TIME OF COOKING LIVER BACK ABOUT 2 MINUTES.”
