“Great spot in Chapel Hill! Feels local and cozy. We came in on a Friday night before a basketball game and it was decently busy. They had a fire going which was great, and the roof top seating was packed (did not have a chance to go up there). They have a food truck with some solid options. We ordered the sliders and fries, but were told by some regulars that the kale salad is one of their best items. Loved the seasoning on the fries, just wish they were a tad crispier but they are solid overall. Be sure to check them out!“
“Please bring the Jerk Turkey Tacos back! My go-to is always the Baht Mi sandwich but this special caught my eye and boy am I glad I tried it. I haven't found an amazing jerk dish in the triangle but this knocked my socks off! I hope I'll see it again. Easily a top contender on the menu!“
“I’ve been to Gizmo several times before - it’s your standard brewery as any other. It’s got a nice layout inside. The location is also nice. The bartender was quick to take our order and provide us suggestions- they seemed knowledgeable about their beers. I had one of their stouts that was seasonal and it was nice.“
“Solid list of sandwiches! I do wish more things were offered hot or pressed. The katsu sub was delicious. We really liked how fresh everything was. The staff was really nice and the Resturant - including the backyard garden were so clean. Which is especially saying a lot keeping the outdoors clear during Durham pollen season! The buffalo cauliflower was a too strong on the buffalo and pretty expensive for the quantity. We won’t be getting that again. In general I found everything to be a few $ over price - I hope the extra costs are going to treating staff well!“
“Fun place to visit- weather permitting. Pizza was great along with some rosé wine. It would've been a 5 star except the line to place your order moves very slowly. Next time I'll bring a cooler with drinks since I noticed that many other people were doing this.“
“Last week our family ordered 'take out' from Bouquet Garni to celebrate granddaughter's graduation. Chef Eric met us at the back door and helped place all of the carefully wrapped dishes into the car. He kindly instructed us on how to heat and serve them.Every dish was incredibly delicious and artfully prepared. The bonus sauces were amazing!Our gathering included people who are vegetarians, vegans and those who enjoy meats. Try the fruit and nut filled bread pudding for dessert!Thank you, Chef Eric!“
