I ordered the Very Veggie and split fries with my dining partner. The employee taking orders told me that he was not vegan and therefore didn't know anything about what items were vegan. I asked about the dipping sauces. He told me dragon sauce had condensed milk and mayo, so I knew that was out. I then asked about the curry mustard, which he assured me was only yellow mustard and curry. Finally I asked about the Thai Sesame dipping, and he got the jar from the fridge for me to read the ingredients--it is vegan. When we received the sauces (had to pay extra to get two), the curry mustard was extremely creamy. I think that he was incorrect and it contained mayo. The Thai Sesame was too sweet for fries. I just did not eat any sauce after tasting both. It was not a problem because I did not enjoy the fries. We ate them on the spot as recommended, but they were just too salty and otherwise just not good. That was my opinion, my partner thought they were fine. The veggie sandwich was very good, but I don't think it was worth the trip for me unless someone else in my family really wanted to eat there. It is a hassle to park to go to this restaurant--try the parking lot directly across Columbia or the garage at Columbia and Rosemary if the lot is full as it was today.

I just visited again after 2ish years since my last visit, and this continues to be my go-to spot to eat in Chapel Hill. When I come for a game and I only have one restaurant choice, this is it!
The burgers are always loaded with flavor, sweet potato fries are super fresh, and portion sizes are great!
As businesses come and go on Franklin Street, I hope this staple continues to hold it down!

Came here a year ago and the food was great but today it was awful. Asked for a bison patty cooked rare and got it overcooked even after complaining, no flavor and fries were not fresh and saggy. Too bad a good place went down in quality so much

This is really great. Thanks to you, I had a delicious meal. This is a heavenly restaurant. I have never had such a delicious hamburger in my life. The patty was juicy, the bun was not dry, and the vegetables were fresh and refreshing. It felt like an orchestra was playing in my mouth. This kind of restaurant should be widely known. I recommend it.

I just ate the best burger I've had in recent memory. It was a transcendent experience. I took one bite and almost fell to one knee to propose to the patty on the spot. I've found religion. I am a changed person.
Place is clean, service is fast and friendly, restroom was stocked. Pleasant music, etc.
But all that out of the way, I cannot overstate the unbelievable taste of this burger. The meat was perfectly cooked. The bacon was crispy without sacrificing chew. The bun was fluffy. The onions were sweet and tender. The mushrooms were dripping with delectable flavor.
I'll never love another. This is it for me. The be-all-end-all of burgers.
Give whoever is behind that grill a raise.

I hadn't been here in a while and figured we'd go for date night. My fiance has a pretty severe gluten allergy which we told the person taking our order and he was super knowledgeable about what he could have on the menu. This was awesome as a lot of times when we go out somewhere people don't know what it is or don't care or pay attention which leaves us to usually just stay in. We felt pretty confident about eating here though! The food came out super quick and it was so good! My only compliant is the caramelized onions I got on my burger were way too sweet I had to take them off it was like dessert was on my burger. Other than that our food was awesome and my fiance didn't get glutened! Definitely added them to our list of places to go!
Actual veggie burger, not a frozen impossible/beyond one. Build your own concept that doesn’t charge for toppings (except for a few like avocado, which was fresh sliced and not pre bagged mush so worth the extra dollar). Fries weren’t amazing, but good enough. Good shakes. The burger itself makes it worth it. The single patty is more than enough.

My take out order was incorrect. I had to drive 10 mins to return it (took five minutes on the phone for them to get the correct order). In the meantime the fries I ordered were cold and they refused to provide a complimentary order. I guess I’ll have to find a new burger joint. Check your order before you leave!!
