We made three visits to Chapel Chill in a single weekend…That’s how good it is! The ice cream is delicious, and after trying 6 flavors, I still cannot decide on which one is my favorite because they are all amazing. Chapel Hill Toffee, Banana Pudding with Biscoff, Buckeye (O-H), Mocha Chocolate Lace, Coffee Oreo and Butter Pecan are all winners in my book. I tried a flight: Chapel Hill toffee, cinnamon cardamom, banana pudding, and a mocha chip (can’t remember the exact name). All were fantastic! We will definitely be going back.
My son and I went to Chapel Chill for the first time today. It was amazing! We were so happy that there were lots of non dairy options. They were all fabulous and we got two pints to bring home. Can’t wait to go back!

Chapel Chill is an adorable ice cream shop in a convenient location between Chapel Hill and Durham. It is the best in town, with all ice cream made in house. The ice cream is creamy, delicious, and on the thicker side. There are many great flavors to choose from, including plenty of non-dairy options and sorbets. They do a great job rotating seasonal flavors, like the seasonal fall flavors. Favorites include ND ube, cinnamon cardamom, banana pudding w biscoff, half birthday cake, coffee Oreo, peach, blood orange sorbet, mango sorbet, nondairy salted caramel, Chapel Hill toffee, and s'mores. They offer an ice cream flight of four small scoops. There is super friendly staff, some merch inside, outdoor seating, and free, easy parking.
