Let me start by saying that we LOVE the Durham location of Curry Point Express and have been going there for cheap delicious Indian food for years. We recently moved closer to Chapel Hill and decided to try out this location.When we walked in at around 5pm, it was like we caught the staff off-guard. The food was ready on time. The server was friendly. There were not that many people when I came in. There is a lot of meat in the curry. The food isn't the best. The naan bread was closer to a crepe or heated tortilla. The strongest flavor in the Tikka masala is the tomato paste. Also it is a very sweet sauce.

Love their food but ghetto! Ordered food through Grubhub. Order said it’d be done 8:30-8:40. Got to the restaurant at 8:36 and my food was sitting OUTSIDE and the store was closed!!!!! They close at 9......MIAMI Blvd location is great! Haven’t had any issues with them but this is the second time I’ve had an issue with the Franklin st location.
