Everything here is microwaved.Rice tasted like rubber, so did the chicken. Their “garlic naan” is literally charred garlic sprinkled over oily naan.If you want Indian food and you need to choose between this place and the frozen food isle of any supermarket, then definitely go to the supermarket.First and last time here. Health inspectors need to check this place out big time.

Let me start by saying that we LOVE the Durham location of Curry Point Express and have been going there for cheap delicious Indian food for years. We recently moved closer to Chapel Hill and decided to try out this location. When we walked in at around 5pm, it was like we caught the staff off-guard. The restaurant was empty, but so was the front bar / serving section. It was like they were closed-up for the night. We ordered food and when the employee went to the back, we could hear the microwave beeping. I don't know what was cooked in-house, but it definitely tasted like everything was just reheated. The naan was soggy and greasy, the tikka masala had oil separated and floating on top, and the rice was dried-out and totally flavorless. We'll definitely find another option or drive to the Durham location. I don't even know how this one is still open, given how prominent of a location they're in.

Very poor quality Indian food . Gobi Manchurian was not like it should be , sour , soggy and no spice . Paneer curry , watery and sweet . Veg korma extra sweet which is unlike Indian food . Chana masala flat tasting. Ordered garlic naan given chapatis instead with no communication. Unfortunate that none of the items were even half decent

The food was ready on time. The server was friendly. There were not that many people when I came in. There is a lot of meat in the curry. The food isn't the best. The naan bread was closer to a crepe or heated tortilla. The strongest flavor in the Tikka masala is the tomato paste. Also it is a very sweet sauce.

Was smoky inside and chicken was a bit tough but not terrible. Express wasn’t laid out on the bar like in the pictures. Was made to order instead.

Doesn’t even deserve one star. No flavor, food old and stale couldn’t even finish and service non existent

Ordered from Uber EatsMy Tikka masala was burnt. It tasted like they left the sauce on the pot way too long and just stirred it up & served it.First and last time I'll eat from here.

HORRIBLE service. Placed order online that did not work but charged my card. Arrived and the door was locked. Do not waste your time!

Love their food but ghetto! Ordered food through Grubhub. Order said it’d be done 8:30-8:40. Got to the restaurant at 8:36 and my food was sitting OUTSIDE and the store was closed!!!!! They close at 9......MIAMI Blvd location is great! Haven’t had any issues with them but this is the second time I’ve had an issue with the Franklin st location.

I had a bad experience with Curry Point Express. I paid for my order online, arrived on time to pick it up, but nobody was there and nobody answered the phone. I left a message, but no one called me back, and it's very difficult to connect with them. They just took my money and that was it. I suggest avoiding making payments online.

Very good! I accidentally ordered the sweet curry and my husband was able to exchange it for the spicy curry with no issues. And it was delish

Declining food quality. I wish they will review their recipes and food handling procedures.

First time trying this place since I'm new to this area! It was a total disappointment the mutter paneer had no flavor and needed salt it tasted plain. The naan was ok but I don't think it was cooked all the way in some parts.
